I think it's funny that the theme to Danielle's party was "Rock Star." I mean, what would Adam wear??!! LOL!

Bamafan - I just noticed I had a voice mail on my cell from her last night. She pretty much said what JustWishin told us last night.

The only things to add:

1. They put plastic on her roof yesterday, so that's good news.

2. They cut the gas to her house so they have no hot water for a shower.

3. She said the only reason she was able to call was because a stranger charged her cell for her but it was almost dead again.

4. All the power poles are down but they are working to put new ones up. She has no idea how long it will be until they have power.

She sounded like her usual perky self - just said she was tired from all the cleanup. She said to tell her ATOP friends "hi" and she can't wait to get back online and talk to y'all.

Tee hee! That is one way to drum up votes.

Seriously we cannot let Clay beat Adam!

I am changing page 1 to NOW THIS MATTERS.

And I am voting for Adam not against Clay -- but it has the same effect. But, if you need inspiration to vote -- how is what Clay published about Adam on the day after the final vote was announced:

"Now that it's all over, and for the record.... I couldn't be happier about the way AI ended this year. I only turn the show on once a season, and only to see what the set looks like each year. This year, I happened to turn it during the minute that Adam Lambert was singing "Ring of Fire" and, at that moment, thought my ears would bleed. Contrived, awful, and slightly frightening! I wasn't really a fan and found myself surprised whenever folks told me that they liked him. Granted, I never saw another performance (and many folks who I trust said that he was great) but I can't imagine I would have enjoyed it. Just not my cup of tea at all."

But there is a bit more to this story -- about 1 month before the Idol final, Clay Aiken tried to get 19E (the people who produce American Idol) to 1. put book Clay on Idol to promote his music (denied), and 2. to let Clay do a duet with Adam for some project he was working on (denied). So this bash Idol article, may have had more to do with Clay vs. 19E than Clay vs. Adam.

I think it would be harder for Adam to beat David Archuleta, because his fans are hardcore when it comes to polls. I'd vote for Kelly regardless, though, because I like her better.

The Clay fans don't seem to be awake yet, so this is a good time to vote like crazy and drive up the numbers so it will be harder for them to catch up.
