I know that I might start a major storm here, but I have this awkward feeling about this relationship. Maybe it's because Sauli doesn't communicate in any way about his feelings for Adam except just being there. Hope that he will some time soon acknowledge that the feelings are mutual, rather then Adam's one- sided expressions of love! I'm pretty sure most of us have been in these kind of relationships some time in our lives - I can't have been the only one! Be kind everyone Sauli has never (even before Adam) spoken about his relationships. He has kept private things private. There doesn't have to be any public statement made - they know between themselves how things are, and that is the only thing that counts. He wouldn't even be there if their feelings were not mutual, IMHO. |

outlawbooster I hear what you are saying, but for me today's photo of Adam and Sauli WAS the statement that they BOTH made to the world about their feelings for each other and their relationship. NoAngel's post back a page or two summed it up beautifully. Adam and Sauli posted this photo out to the world with knowledge and understanding of what they were saying. I find this photo mesmerising - it is equal parts of fierce, loving, tender, committed, possessive (on both sides), stunningly beautiful and above all a STATEMENT. For me it says - 'welcome to us - we are!'. This, i feel, is their confirmation and 'official' announcement of their joy. They don't have to say 'words' to make their intent understood. Adam posted this photo, not that I know that Sauli didn't give 100% approval! Just wish that there would be 2 people talking about a relationship, not just Adam. Love the photo but just because they look serious about each other doesn't mean nothing until Sauli makes the same kind of statements Adam is putting out there. Sauli does not have to be mute...All relationships are not super secret, most people love to talk about the people they love! Can't understand where Adam would talk about it, but Sauli would not...

I think this states how I feel perfectly. I have been in a profession (pastor) where I just don't talk about my personal life in public -- it is just how I set my boundaries, and it sounds like Sauli is the same way. When you are a public person, it can be very valuable to keep part of your life to yourself because so much of your life is on parade for all to see. I used to have members of my church drive by my house every day "just to see how I was doing" (it was creepy). Sometimes having people wanting to know every detail about your life makes you become more private in response. Just my opinion -- all is love :D
