The first videos I ever did were at the Memphis Idol show and these vids are CRAPPY. lol The only redeeming factor is that I was standing right at the stage. In the first one, I turned the camera landscape in the middle of it and Adam is floating in the air. In the second one, I was so excited I forgot to turn the camera on until the song was almost over. Anyway, here is part of his show in Memphis. I have no idea if this will imbed or just give you the link. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHBtyQnl4fYwww.youtube.com/watch?v=DorWDY-KMe0

A little OT, maybe even silly.. So I'm on the Cannes Film Festival right now, just took an opportunity with a bunch of friends to look at it from within and now I rewatch some moments from red carpet just to be sure of the first impression. Never really payed attention to the famous people before (excluding Queen, but it's another story), but since I became so very interested in Adam lately and noticed that almost every journalist, he speaks to, makes remarks about how exclusively pleasant and simple interlocutor he is, transparently hinting that other celebrities are not, I started to observe, and those guys are sooo right. I saw these so-called stars here in Cannes today and, my God, they're arrogant and just impossible to talk to...poor reporters that tried. They actually, don't make any sort of eye contact, don't hold the conversation and look to people like to garbage and sometimes simply turn away without say good bye or thanking. Very rough. And the way they behave and talk with clever faces about the last crap they filmed...why so serious?) On TV it looks a little different, but still.. Not sure if I can compare Adam's status to those of movie stars... I personnaly knew about him since the Idol and it seems that all my friends have an idea about who he is. But here at the forum I saw some comments that he's not as famous and popular as I assumed...anyway, celebrity is celebrity. All that I saw today just helped to appreciate even more Adam's, ermmm, social (?) qualities. I just hope he will never change his attitude and will always stay that nice guy everybody is crazy about) Because that was ridiculous and even awkward to watch how seriously some of today's festival guests take themselves) Although, Jake Gyllenhaal is kinda funny)) **** not tired to be sorry for my english)) Of course, it was the opening day of Cannes today! I will probably go next week, but I was there last year, and it does have quite a snobby attitude about it, unlike say, The Berlinale which is more open and edgy, and people seem more friendly.

Listening on repeat doesn't work. It won't count as much as physically clicking the link and playing it a few times per hour. It's probably better if you just put the play list of The Original High on repeat from Adam's YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuuNtD-xmhd30Z4qoVX1aSlzaQO2rac18Those count and it's not looping one video. yes but if you don't click immediately to repeat song it plays the lyric video...NOT It's a play list so each video will start up after the previous one finishes. There is no problem with playing the lyric video--it counts. I think people have been saying that just repeat playing the video will not garner that many views. So this playlist is a way to have a uniquely different view so they count.

You can't make a statement like that and not post a picture or video to illustrate!!! The GNT in my hometown was my first Adam concert. I was surprised that it sold out in 2 hours in this very conservative country music area! Heh heh. This isn't specifically from the Memphis show...but I think there is Memphis footage!! <grins evilly. Enjoy!! The purple fuzzy whip he's playing with at 2:23 is the one I threw on the stage in Duluth (Atlanta). I was standing right at the stage there too.

More than a very good chance that GT will be #40 tomorrow. If not tomorrow, then friday for sure. Sam Smith's Lay Me Down is dropping like a lead balloon. It dropped 400, then 300 spins the past two days. If it drops 300 again, GT passes it. Then the next 4 songs above Adam are also dropping, but not as quickly as Sam's. It is looking very very good for GT to be in the mid 30s, by end of next week Sam Smith's next single, "Like I Can", goes for Mainstream Top 40 adds on 5/19. LMD is being dropped but the space will almost immediately be replaced by LIC. So that will be a wash in the end. Setting that aside, GT should move up into the Top 40 in time for this Sunday's published Mediabase charts.
