Spotify update: 2,614,070 streams! Increase of 177k today! Going faster now.  It has now passed Cuckoo and is his 8th most streamed song on Spotify. Next on the list is WWFM Live in Berlin, but that will take a while because that one has over 4,7 mil streams. At this rate that will take about 12 days to get there. The Viral lists aren't updating for some reason. I'll check back later. In the meantime GhostTown has also risen to #31 on the Dutch Shazam Top 100 from #83 last week.  |

Maybe I keep missing the answer, or maybe it's different in other countries, but I thought Shazam plays didn't count in Billboard's calculations for chart position? Not sure about Billboard but, as I understand it, the Shazam charts are significant and watched by those gauging the buzz for a song (radio stations) plus playing the song on the Shazam platform scores a hit for the YouTube video - so double whammy, I think. |
