I just wanted to comment on the Adam/Sauli equally in love subject. Most of it has probably already been said.
Adam has a platform and the visibility to declare his feelings when he chooses. Sauli would have to search out an opportunity and it would seem odd or forced. When they are together, there is little doubt, at least to me, that the attraction/love/whatever is mutual. Any significant other to someone in the spotlight knows that even the most innocent comment or action can be misinterpreted and portrayed in a negative light. I admire the fact that Sauli appears comfortable, content, and in love with our beautiful rock star. Adam is way too smart to kid himself about love. You know, once burned twice shy. For Adam to put it out there for us shows that the committment is there and he expects it to flourish.

Haha, I just imagine him jumping up and down on Oprahs couch.......  But seriously, IMO this was the "official" statement from both. I doubt that Adam will further comment on this relationship - and neither will Sauli, they will keep it private. This picture should be repeated on each page here - I love the artwork, some fans are incredibly talented. I am happy beyond words that Adam has found his "viking", someone whom he can trust. It makes me crazy to think about the fact that if they were a heterosexual couple they could marry and leave together easily....! :-[ Yeah, that sucks. They will have added issues of not having the right to marry, plus INS issues ... Ugh! Well, so glad that Adam has "channels" now and I do believe gay marriage will be legalized in California within the next year or two, but yes, the Federal immigration laws are going to have to be changed as well to honor state unions. Not an easy road, for sure.  |

I thought he did a good job considering it was a crappy song and didn't have enough time to practice it..Kara at 3:36 is full of compliments about what a great job he did and how proud she was to hear him sing it..maybe she should have watched this vid before she made that statement in her book The studio version is very, very good: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3-mvD6UwRQYes!  I hope no one wants Sauli to leap up on Oprah's couch and loudly proclaim his great love for Adam - the ridiculous Tom Cruise way. hee. The expression in Sauli's eyes said it all IMO. He is content and secure and totally in love with Adam. That is actually what stood out for me most in that picture. The serenity and happiness in Sauli"s demeanor. I sure don't need anything else. I love this picture of Adam and Sauli. Adam holds Sauli, conveying his strength, but at the same time has a beautiful soft, loving look that expresses the beauty and wonder of all he feels. Sauli is being held, yet he stares directly into the camera, portraying honest feelings, strength and real conviction about what he is feeling. I like the way Sauli looks here. To me, he makes a statement. I am proud of who I am and of who I am with and of what we share together. This is how I feel. The way he leans his head in to Adam, the body language there, makes me feel that he is there to protect and nurture his partner, and not just there to be nurtured and protected. I remember Adam saying that he is usually the one who is the giver, and that he thought maybe it was time to find someone who gives to him. This picture makes me think they equally give to each other, and that makes me happy. Their body language is equally protective and nurturing. Of course, it is only a picture, and I don't know their real story, but this is the message this particular picture gives to me. Sometimes, as they say, a picture can say a thousand words, and I like what I hear in this message. And it is a message. From all I can surmise about Adam based on two years of reading and listening to his every public word, he would not tweet anything to the public without making sure that the message was equally his and Sauli's together. His follow up tweet to Tommy says "we," and I think that collective "we" is who put out the picture for the public statement. I am happy that Adam is feeling so fulfilled. I always remember him saying his greatest fear was the fear of not finding love and of being alone. I am so glad that in the middle of a crazy new world, Adam is connecting with the intimacy that a person needs to feel real and whole. I wish for good things for both Sauli and Adam, and if they continue to find them together, all the better! |

Again being an overly invested fan, I'm really anxious to see if Sauli goes to Russia with Adam then they go to Finland to meet the family. I'm sure Sauli wants that to happen. It's kind of cute to think of Adam being the nervous one and Sauli being HBIC on his own turf.
God, I sound like I should be writing some cheesy screen play. BUT the point is, if S were my son or brother, I'd want to meet his boyfriend. There may also be issues involved with going out then back into the US, too. Just thought of that as I typed.

It makes me happy when Adam keeps us busy and we aren't worrying about what other performers are doing or "getting" that Adam isn't.
