On the Ultimate Idol poll - if Clay wins (and I've said this before) it will be a joke. I almost want that to happen because it's so ridiculous. Everyone and their dog knows Clay is irrelevant.
I said "ALMOST".

The GQ article brought to mind the reaction my son had when I bought a shirt for him at Christmas. He took one look at it and said this is so west coast...apparently there is a difference in east coast & west coast fashion! If you look at the pics of gay clubs on the east coast, they follow GQ fashions, rather then the cutting edge of west coast. BTW, thought the outfit they were calling Adam out on was justified, black on black on black was just sooooo BLACK! Come on BB, you know that some color to bring out those beautiful eyes would be stunning! black on black on black is very much a NY thing. walk the streets of manhattan. if you see someone in pastels, they're not from the city. correction - they're not from manhattan. bklyn & queens are technically the city but even they say "going to the city" when they come to manhattan. remember the striped shirt with the pink lips that adam wore on idol and people bought the shirt? I was thinking of buying it at the time but it looked too "new jersey". This reminds me of a recent trip dh & I took to NYC. Hadn't been there in years. Worked near the UN when I graduated HS, then moved to Alaska, Florida, so this was a walk down memory lane for me. Sorry, I digress. : Anyhoo, on one of our walks around the upper east side, we stopped on a corner to take in the sights. Then both of us started chuckling 'cause EVERYONE was dressed in black. I don't recall that being the case when I was younger, but that was soooo many years ago.

Not only do we have audio of Adam saying Sauli's name but someone actually cleaned it up & muted all the other sounds. Cracks me up...a little creepy (not that I didn't listen to it!) but mostly funny! We like Adam at his purest form....damn it if that means we need to crop everyone out of a vid or pics, so be it. LOL

I wear black on black all the time but it's always with different textures. That's the same way Adam does it. I don't see anything unusual about it at all, especially for evenings. I LOVE ALL Black as well! I even wear it here in Bermuda (yes, I do get looks sometimes). You can take the girl out of NY but not the NY out of the girl. I used only buy black, white, gray and soft blues when I lived and worked in NY. Its so funny because my DH is "preppy" so when we go out we often times don't look like we "match" (even though we do where it counts!). Happy Birthday COOKIEJAR!!!!!

Jazzrocks, you could always make up a fake birthday, as some others have done! I could. But I've never lied about my age in RL and I hate to start here. Btw myspenser - what # was AM on 10@10 last night? I just took the year off. It wasn't about lying about my age, it was prompted a bit about that discussion about security. I guess will see come December if it works with just the month and day. Lynne, LOOOOVED your story. Is that the son who has been a tad resistant in the past. Heh. Resistance is Futile; I think we need to coin an acronym. RIF. I love black on black too. Grammys, anyone? No, I definitely have not agreed with all of his fashion choices, but like with anything, I lol and shake my head and say, "Oh, Adam." Fashion, especially high fashion, is highly subjective and I say WTF to the vast majority of it. The hats at the royal wedding were indicative of that. I perceived their use of "gay" as sneering and snide; it was not a descriptor, but the term was used an insult. Did I tweet them or even RT the original tweet? No. I figured they'd get enough of that. That GQ cover is hilarious. The column on the left cracked me up.

I love black-on-black. i do wish he'd wear more (subtle) colors at times. Brown, olive, slate blue, etc. But he looks classy in black and, with a few notable exceptions, his style ROCKS! Happy Birthday Cookeejar!! I guess I have to make a decision before my birthday whether or not to show my age in my profile or receive no birthday greetings. :-/ Thank You everyone You have Made my day a Happy day. Jazzrocks It is so worth it to receive these wonderful gifts.
