In North Mississippi there is a great specialty -- biscuits with chocolate gravy. Hot, flakey, just baked biscuits covered with the richest, dark chocolate sauce you can imagine -- and it is served from breakfast. Now that is the way a biscuit was meant to be eaten. Not sure what that have to do with Adam except that IF he know about chocolate biscuits maybe he would come back to Mississippi for a concert! Poutine!! That sound a littel too close to Poontine. However, I am willing to try it. I have never had biscuits and gravy and I think I will pass on it. I am too fond of biscuits and cane syrup and butter. Now biscuits and choclate sounds interesting. Even more nteresting is biscuits, syrup and Adam Lambert. So happy for Russia and Canada, but I so need another biscuit syrup sopping AFL concert in the South. Quebec might as well be on the other side of the world, Canada being so huge - for example, I could spent a week in Cabo, air fare and 4 start hotel included for what it would cost me to fly to Montreal, my travel agent blames it on the size of the country and the fact that only 2 airlines are competing (off to sob in private) ???

I've been wanting to go to Montreal for years, and almost went on vacation there a few years ago. I might have to take that trip this summer -- it will be good to know that I will be among friends! And the theme is FIRE, people -- FIRE!!!! Fire and Adam Lambert is a GOOD combination (and no, I'm really not a pyromaniac).

No, you misunderstood, I am European after all (originally) and Montreal is the closest to Europe in North America, I am bemoaning that it is more expensive to go to Montreal than to Cabo

The GQ article brought to mind the reaction my son had when I bought a shirt for him at Christmas. He took one look at it and said this is so west coast...apparently there is a difference in east coast & west coast fashion! If you look at the pics of gay clubs on the east coast, they follow GQ fashions, rather then the cutting edge of west coast. BTW, thought the outfit they were calling Adam out on was justified, black on black on black was just sooooo BLACK! Come on BB, you know that some color to bring out those beautiful eyes would be stunning! black on black on black is very much a NY thing. walk the streets of manhattan. if you see someone in pastels, they're not from the city. correction - they're not from manhattan. bklyn & queens are technically the city but even they say "going to the city" when they come to manhattan. remember the striped shirt with the pink lips that adam wore on idol and people bought the shirt? I was thinking of buying it at the time but it looked too "new jersey". I'm not really an expert on NY fashion, just going by what my son said... He went to NYU to law school, graduated & lived in Manhattan til he & his partner Daniel moved to Brooklyn...Just going by what they say! So, you might be right...maybe you hang out with different crowds then they do!
