So can someone explain yo me why There i Said it will not be a single? I seriously want to understand as it makes no sense that track almost universally liked...and the most 'favorited' ...arguably...would not be a strong contendor. Speciously as some of the mege hits of the last few years were likely also labelled that way originally.
I am not trying to be contentious...i really don't get it.

Ok liking run down so far on new tracks because we all know I #LoveTheMoo:
The Original High is a frolic. Fun and edgy at the same time. There I Said It. Anthemic ballad with shades of Ryan Tedder in the drums. Love it. Rumors. Really dislike the monotone distortion on Adams voice at the beginning. Might grow on me.

Just me or does anyone else think "There I Said It" is actually a refusal to be hidden/second class citizen/coming out song? I have been consumed by RL situations for the past five days, so I am frantically trying to catch up. I can picture several interpretations of this song, including this one. I can also imagine it as a message from Adam to his mommy-bert fans. You know those who love love love Adam but take exception to something he says or does. Who think it is their duty to advise Adam about his choices, his appearance, his fashions, his tattoos, his musical style, his tweets, his statements to the press, his friends and lovers, his language, his choice of single, his PR, etc. etc. I see Adam as a natural outlier. Amazingly eclectic, more than a little ADD, a consumer of all sorts of music and trends, driven, highly goal oriented, mercurial, fickle (a word he has used to describe himself), easily bored, constantly looking forward to something new. He refuses to be put in a box, to conform to an image or label, or be told what to do ("I HATE being told what to do.") He can be stubborn, even oppositional, tho' mostly with a smile. So, could this be Adam's way of telling his loving but bossy fans, the media, and his team that while he will try to please, if pushed, he is gonna push back?

As to the question about "what cassie thinks" about TOH, I think it sounds like an incredible pop album. Other than that, I am frustrated that I cannot pick and choose what to listen to on the stream. I need to hear some of the songs repeatedly. I need to go back and forth between songs.
I shouldn't complain. We got to listen to TOH a week early! It's all good. I just want it all and I want it NOW!

Speciously as some of the mege hits of the last few years were likely also labelled that way originally. I am not trying to be contentious...i really don't get it. I will take a stab at explaining..... I assume by "a single", you mean that you think that TISI could be played on radio? Because, of course, people can just buy the track. Why would this make a great single? I just can't imagine it getting much airplay. *** Why not try a test? 1. Pick the radio format you think this song fits into. The only one I can imagine it harmonizing with is AC (Adult Contemporary) and Adam, WBR and his management are not going to promote a song to AC. So let's say that you want it on "Pop" radio....nothing else really matters to Adam. 2. Now pick any leader station -- let's say Z100 NYC (iHeartRadio) -- and look the songs they play -- here is the last 10 songs: Tuesday, June 9, 2015 12:47AM "Elastic Heart" Sia 12:42AM "Don't Tell Em" Jeremih / YG 12:39AM "Cheerleader" Omi 12:36AM "Bad Blood" Taylor Swift / Kendrick Lamar 12:32AM "Trap Queen" Fetty Wap 12:29AM "One Last Time" Ariana Grande 12:25AM "Pray To God" Calvin Harris / Haim 12:22AM "Want To Want Me" Jason Derulo 12:18AM "Budapest" George Ezra 12:14AM "Time Of Our Lives" Pitbull / Ne-Yo Play these songs and listen to all of them -- then play TISI. Do you think it fits? This is the music that people who are in the Z100 target audience want to hear -- their target is 18 - 29 years old. Lots of music with urban/hip hop beats, contemporary rhythms. JMHO TISI is a beautiful song, beautifully sung but it has nothing to do with pop radio -- actually it is not even produced for radio. It is certainly not going to get rock, country, Latin, dance, AAA, etc. airplay. **** There are at least two tracks on TOH that seem to fit current radio to me: TOH and Rumors. If they were interested in releasing a ballad, I think "Underground" would have a better shot at airplay -- and it will also almost certainly never be a single.
