YouTube only counts for the singles chart. Spotify counts for both the singles and album charts. STREAM ON SPOTIFY ON DEMAND (which means you select it or play it from a playlist you selected) But Swift isn't on Spotify and she is getting huge streaming numbers for her album. Isn't this due to her YT views on her video? There is a long list of streaming service that count for the Billboard 200 -- and she is on those. Just not Spotify. Isn't this due to her YT views on her video? There are other streaming services, but TS is getting the bulk of those added numbers from her track equivalent sales. Remember it only takes 10 TEAs to = one album sale. When someone sells singles (and albums for that matter) like TS does, they can afford to say 'no' to the likes of Spotify. ETA: on Canadian iTunes she currently has 4 songs in the top 51. Bad Blood ft. Kendrick Lamar, Bad Blood w/o KL, Style and Shake It Off. |
