What is the difference between Rdio Audio On-Demand Plays and Rdio Audio Tethered Plays? Rdio is a free service right? I can't answer the 1st question. As far as "free" - I think you need to pay if you want to play "on demand" on your mobile (same as Spotify) but you can use it free in your browser on desktop - That's how I use it. I think we determined a while back that you can stream on demand on free Spotify except perhaps on a phone. Paid Spotify allows you more playlist-sharing options and off-line playing. As long as you're selecting the song and playing it and it isn't playing from the library on your device, it is streaming, and I am doing that with both my iPad and my PC.

I have Amazon Prime and I have Kindle tablet. It says I get Amazon Prime music for free. What do I need do to make my listening count for the TOH album?Listen to it. (HA! I'm being a smart ass because I'm getting dizzy reading all the discussion of what to do.)

Don't know if I can catch up on everything as the countdown to official release approaches. Have been gone the last day and a half to help my brother clean out and redo his rose garden. Now I have flooring people coming Tuesday and Wednesday. I think I will be locked in my computer room all week streaming from multiple devices while I try to keep track of what the guys are doing to the rest of the house. I must have had a serious brain fart when I agreed to the installation dates. Geez! Deep breathing does not help and repeating/chanting "It will be alright" does not seem to help. Hope members having a chance to get to New York for the Barnes & Noble signing and GMA performance have an amazing time. Will be waiting for your stories. Here ya go, 4EverAdam - saw this on the internet the other day. I'm saving it for a week like you're having! Let us know if it works.

If anyone notices that they've made it available for streaming - please post!

I have Amazon prime and have been trying to set it up on my Kindle. I am not sure but it seems to be tapping into my Amazon cloud to play Ghost Town and will probably do the same with TOH. If am not mistaken I think plays from downloads don't count as streams. If you get your free prime set up please share how to info.

It doesn't matter that much, but GT is #1 for the 4th week in this chart already: If you can please retweet! Both the 20Under as the UP40 are compiled based on the top 50 of webmasters, the top 25 submitted lists of visitors and the number of retweets.

Let it play continously. If you have data restrictions keep an eye on your consumption until you get a feel for how much you are using.

You should be able to turn that off

Lots of old stuff. Same with their Prime movies. Prime is good for free 2-day (or faster) shipping and for some video like their own programming (Transparent, Bosch) and earlier seasons of some current TV (Vikings) or series that are over (Californication, The Wire, etc.). I was really disappointed in their music service. Spotify (free) is so much better.

I thought it was a good idea for a few minutes, but there were problems. I had bought Amazon Prime on my youngest's student account. I mainly wanted to read, so I registered the Kindle in her older sister's name because she has all of the books. I was going to re-register in the Prime account, but I think you have to buy the songs and I'd lose my books back to the cloud. It was easier to go ahead and buy a prime Spotify account for 3 months for 99 cents. My son's Kindle is registered on the Prime account and he already listens to the music, so he'll play the album. Anyway, thanks!
