I gave up watching the show, too. I think we got some wrong info. They were not even teasing Adam coming up. So, since we are looking for things to pass the time until the Tonight Show, here is a fun little quiz. We sometimes talk about Adam being slightly off pitch. Or debate whether or not he is. I'm not entirely sure that I wished to know I have a "possible pitch detection deficit" and that I scored in the 0.0 percentile. My disability notwithstanding, I still know a damn fine voice when I hear it!! Ooops. Didn't mean it to be a downer. But it goes to show you that you don't have to be a musical scholar or have an exceptional ear to enjoy music and good voices. This test only checks your ability to perceive slight differences in pitch. Not your ability to hear rhythm, tone, emotions, beat, themes, lyrics, or instrumentation. Or your appreciation of Adam's exceptional voice. So turn up the volume and dance along, cry along, sing along. ENJOY! |

I like the collective idea behind streaming. I'm streaming. I wonder how many other people on Atop are also streaming. Is there anyway to find out? I'm streaming! Other than buying albums it's the best thing we can do right now. Me too!  |

If you are in the US stream Ghost Town and the GT remixes all week. When the album drops tomorrow, shouldn't we also stream the entire album? Or are you saying to stay focussed on streaming only GT? Sorry I'm still confused.. thanks for your patience Q3! If you are streaming for maximum chart effect stream Ghost Town and GT Remixes all week. (US ONLY). The UK chart is different and in my opinion better. They average the top 12 tracks. |

Talon added a late comment to Saturday's thread that I thought was well- thought out. He is addressing the question of whether Queen fans are apt to buy TOH. "I do think Adam won many fans over during the tours but fans of him, not necessarily his music. It's more that Adam won their respect, but they aren't going to switch their musical tastes. I'm sure a HUGE amount of fans gained respect for Montserrat Caballe during the Barcelona album, but the fans of Freddie were mostly rock fans and weren't going to start buying opera albums en masse. If Adam had done a more rock album, he would have had a better shot at retaining Queen fans for his music...but he wants the pop ring so it is what it is  " Yeah but wouldn't it be great if the QAL fans would download "Lucy"! |

Today on the Elvis Duran radio show, when one of the female hosts was doing the "events calendar," she announced Adam on the Fallon Show. Said "Adam was here not long ago. This guy has such a lovely, positive spirit. You gotta tune in to see him." Also announced the Kelly & Michael appearance later this week.
