The votes are in (and there were A LOT), but the results were unanimous. Although everyone brought their A-game to last night’s red carpet, Adam Lambert is the winner of FORA’s coveted MMVA Golden Hanger Best Dressed Award! Although he always looks like he’s walking around with a filter on, Adam’s MMVA look scored him major points with the crowd. His dapper-meets-edgy attire was the perfect red-carpet look. From his studded shoes, to his patterned shirt and killer jewelery, Adam is totally deserving of his best dressed win!

Anyone know? There's a new Batman vs Superman movie but it's not due for release until March of 2016. If EITN was used as a song in that movie, it would be AMAZING!!! Is that too much to hope for???

I know this sounds weird, but Tove Lo is the "bigger" star. It is a weird thing that Adam is friends with Tove and Kesha right before they get huge. And works with Nile and Pharrell before they are huge again. Good for him to get #2. I wish he had worn his GMA outfit to MMVA - he looked really conservative and out of touch to me in that black suit. He wasn't at some formal event. Am glad that the live band he's been using sounds terrific. I do not agree that Tove Lo is the bigger star!! She has had more recent hits but Adam by name recognition alone has been around for six years and very well known. He may not appeal to the kiddies anymore but he is established. We have to remember that Adam got started late and a lot of his competition is much younger than him. Most of the people in that audience last night were teenagers. ..... I also do not think they are friends -- I think they worked together and had dinner together and drank red wine. Not exactly a typical Tove Lo party-girl night. Kesha was big before Adam met her. "Tic Tok" was massive #1 song, released August 2009 while Adam was still on the Idols Live Tour. RCA put Adam with Kesha as part of their PR effort for the two artists but I also do not believe they were ever friends. The only one on that list who I really believe is Adam's friend is Nile. And they are friends. **** Tove Lo is on a very different path than Adam, and has a totally different attitude. It is great that they did a song together but I can't see them touring together. (Although they both have been known to perform barefoot. ) What Adam and Tove Lo have in common is a relationship with the same producer -- Shellback. If they had not done the song together, would anyone actually put Adam and Tove Lo in the same sentence? **** Usually when artists co-tour there is a strategic reason for it -- and often a shared label group relationship. I just can't see any strategic (or non-strategic) reason for Adam to tour with Tove Lo. In any case, it is way too soon for Adam to be making tour plans. |
