That tweeting just makes me feel squiggy--don't like it. Maybe stress has taken over and caused poor judgement.

On a more fun note, as a person who can only wink one eye, I find the gif of Adam (from Gelly, page 1) wiggling his eyebrows independently amazing and hilarious! He is such a card!
Also, love Cassie's song list for Adam beginners (also page 1). I have never been able to play "My Conviction" just once and move on. Always have to replay at least twice.
And last but not least, I believe Flyteplan has coined a new word - "WTFness".

Monte is playing the Viper Room on the 22nd. Holds 250 people -- packed. Adam really cannot just go there anymore. And that's one of the larger venues he's played. I'm not on twitter, but Michael Bolton performed on DWTS tonight with Australian Delta Goofdam. Any connection to tweets there?? Or is that why she may have pulled his name out when asked?

Maybe she had a horrendous day w/4 small children and is exhausted and on the edge and... We should probably all ignore it - just like if we overheard something we didn't really want to hear and feel it's best not to repeat it or dwell on it or make it worse.... It's not our fault she put it out on twitter, but it really isn't our business. JMO Your right. It is none of our business, which is why it should not have been put out there like that. If you follow her, her tweets go on your page. We're not talking about a kid here, either. This is a woman in her 30s. Well..... I just have one small kid and she absolutely drives me bonkers at times. I have (ahem) been known to completely lose it after a long day at work combined with kid crazyness and said things that I had to apologize for afterwards. Multiply that by 4 for all those additional kids (or to the fourth power, whatever), add a husband who's rarely home, frustration that her husband's career doesn't match his friend's...and...yeah. Angry verbal diareah can occur. However, putting it out on Twitter just creates horrendous issues. Bad judgement call. May have been a bad judgement call based on utter exhaustion and pent up frustrations, but the problem with Twitter is that once the dirty laundry gets aired, you CAN'T take it back. Twitter is a horrible mechanism as a stress relief valve. Its not like you're alone in the room with a trusted friend, where you can really "let it all hang out", say every last crappy/miserable/borderline evil thought in your mind, sob for a minute, and then get patted on the back with a cheerful "Feel better now that its all out?!!" If you allow your real life to be part of Twitter, there's a few true friends, but mostly just aquaintences and potentially business associates and other people lurking about. You can't pretend that everyone is your friend. They just aren't. And the horrible part is that I think she *IS* good friends (or at least on good terms) with Adam, and Adam has always seemed to be a part of Monty's whole family (kids 'n all). This just sucks. :-[ |
