Today I did something I thought I would never have the courage to do - walk out of my church during homily. The priest was on a rant about the Supreme Court ruling and used the same old tired arguments why this is so wrong, that gay couples could not raise families and that I cannot be a Catholic if I accept this ruling and that I am living in the dark. Ok then, if I cannot be considered a Catholic then I am out of here. We were seated on the second pew so we were very visible when my son and I walked out. And you know what? I never felt so FREE! I can still believe in my God but not in the confines of this very narrow-minded religion. As a member of a very devout Catholic family, I am sure this will not be acceptable but so be it! I stick to my decision. FREE at last and so happy for my brothers and sisters in the gay community! Brings to mind for me this quote by Cory Booker: “Before you speak to me about your religion, first show it to me in how you treat other people; Before you tell me how much you love God, show me how much you love all his children; Before you preach to me of your passion for your faith, teach me about it through your compassion for your neighbors. In the end, I’m not as interested in what you have to tell or sell as in how you choose to live and give.” You have chosen to be a truer representation of your god than your church. You have chosen LOVE.... Nicely put. I follow something called The Daily Edge on Twitter, and they just tweeted a similar sentiment: "If you use the Bible to justify your opposition to #equality, how do you justify your opposition to helping the poor, elderly and sick?" I've noticed that those who flaunt their religion the loudest often bear the least resemblance to the Jesus Christ portrayed in the Bible. That Jesus wouldn't carry a gun, or promote discrimination, or refuse to help the poor until they proved that being poor wasn't their fault.

I vaguely recall Adam asking fans for feedback on his FB some time ago.. asking which songs were the faves. GT was passed by some songs that have super promo going right now. The Selena Gomez song blew past everybody and the new Tori Kelly single is flying up the chart. This is to be expected. GT managed to stay ahead of the Sam Hunt song that has been threatening all week so I call that good. OT, but I am not sure why the Tori Kelly single is flying up the chart. According to kworb, that song is not charting on itunes (he has a -- in that column). I can understand Taylor, M5, etc. flying up the charts based on the past even though I consider many of their songs what Boy George called "fart on a loop". I hate both their current singles. Is Tori a proven hit-maker? I've never heard of her until recently when I heard she was on Idol. Just did some googling and saw she was an On The Verge artist on her first single but that single was not a smash. Anyway, just wondering why Adam is not accepted on pop radio with open arms when others are.

TOH on Spotify has (looooong list of) credits near every song to all writers/producers, except Adam, but when you play any song, there is his name under the title. I don't see this on the other albums. Just wondering why is it so?))

In the meantime, "Ghost Town" is headed UP the radio airplay charts: Ghost Town is Top 30 on Top 40 lw #28 TW #30 Up this week ADAM LAMBERT Ghost Town 2190 2082 +108 AI 8.358 > The rank is down, but the spins are UP! Is GT going down to #30 from #28 of any consequence or is it the normal fluctuation of the charts? This is not the Sunday Official chart. That will happen around 5-6 Pacific time. GT should be #29 for the week. Yes, it is down a place but the spins and bullet are up! It has been a very weird chart, all week. To answer the question about TORI KELLEY, her first song did very well, got to the mid teens, so her 2nd song got a lot of adds & immediate spins.

You have cracked open the door for the rest of your family, too. Time will tell who else walks through.

Speaking of Spotify, if I play the songs on my play.ist or from TOH on Spotify on my computer (Windows 7), it stops at the bonus tracks and won't play them. I know it's not playing from my hard drive because I have the free version... It plays fine on my iPad. Any ideas?

Adding some description to this since I didn't know what it was. Ghost Town is #3 and was #9 last week. (you can click on the "show me this track's rank")

Because although it was 16 on pop, it was only 60 on the Hot 100 and the only certification was in New Zealand for gold. Didn't Adam's WWFM and IIHY do way better than that? I still don't get it.
