Perhaps they can pick TOH for a single in October and shoot the music video in New Zealand or AU or South Africa! I agree with your list TOH and then EITN or Rumors. i prefer Rumors only because Adam did not write EITN. I love Rumors as well... I think more then EITN, this is one my 4 yr. old daughter constantly asks me to play in the car. Not that she quite understands what rumors are yet but she still loves that song.  My other top song which probably won't ever be released as a single is "The Light". I tend to play that one a lot. It is so catchy & just puts me in such a good dancey mood when I listen to it. It's my "go to" song now usually play it over & over quite a few times a day, probably more than any of the others. I love The Light a lot! :D A copy of TOH (I would never took the original CD to my car) is in our car now and of course on heavy rotation. When I played it first time (not too loud, I didn't want my husband to get annoyed with the music) and Another Lonely Hour started, my husband turned the sound up (and after a few seconds he did it one more time) then I could see him tapping on the wheel to the rhyme of the song. I asked him lately and he said the album is great and he loves it very mmuch. YAY!  |

Today I did something I thought I would never have the courage to do - walk out of my church during homily. The priest was on a rant about the Supreme Court ruling and used the same old tired arguments why this is so wrong, that gay couples could not raise families and that I cannot be a Catholic if I accept this ruling and that I am living in the dark. Ok then, if I cannot be considered a Catholic then I am out of here. We were seated on the second pew so we were very visible when my son and I walked out. And you know what? I never felt so FREE! I can still believe in my God but not in the confines of this very narrow-minded religion. As a member of a very devout Catholic family, I am sure this will not be acceptable but so be it! I stick to my decision. FREE at last and so happy for my brothers and sisters in the gay community! I'm a little late, but I have to bow down in front of you! You did so brave deed!  |

On our way to San Francisco Pride today, hubby and I listened to the whole album. Once we got in the car he asked to play "The Original High" first. I obliged gladly. Next he mentioned why Adam isn't releasing TOH as a single already. For him it has "summer hit single" written all over. I agree. Funny thing -- I got in my car earlier today with my husband. I had the ALN playing (just where I left off). I started to turn it off -- and he said "No, leave it. I like it." {shock and smiles from me} Then he said he knew they had a strategic reason for releasing GT as the first single but he really wondered why they did not release TOH first. Then my 25 year old son and his girlfriend got in the car and asked me to play "Ghost Town". My 19 year old daughter loves Ghost Town. Her favorite song on the album. She had some friends from college over and they were all pretty aware of the single when my daughter started pimping Adam. (she knows how to make mom happy haha). Some of them kept singing the chorus  |
