Catching up, but I must say: Those Trailblazer performances were so good! Loved the reaction from the audience as well! They were all moving along with it an enjoying themselves a lot.
mayumi: That was a very brave thing you did there! But I understand what you had to do and that it felt the right thing. Would love to see that more people have that kind of courage.
I was also raised as a Catholic. I was never that devoted but we went to church very regular. I didn't like sitting still that much as a child so I joined the children's choir and became an acolyte just to have something to do. When I went to University and wasn't home for every weekend anymore the visit's to the church became less regular. The religion just didn't do much to me anymore, but it was quite smashed when a priest said sometime that people who don't believe in God aren't real people and don't deserve to live. For me having Atheist friends that just made me so furious. Like he was allowed to deny them the existence. The Catholic institute here in the Netherlands is reverting back to 40 years ago and is just not in this time. Even my parents are really disappointed in that and don't go to church much anymore. It's sad to see since religion is a way for people to bond and it can be very powerful. It's just not much for me at the moment.
Some great news though: GT just got it's 9th spin today on the top 3 stations in the Netherlands!!! That's equaling the highest amount he got so far. Now averaging 7 spins/ day in the last 7 days which is the highest average since they started playing it. It's #6 in iTunes overall still and #14 on the Spotify Top 50 with 74k streams/day yesterday. That's also the highest since it charted!!!!
