The ustream was really playing GT right at the beginning of SNOL. But it seemed like part of an add for iHeart. No idea if that was on the stations as well. I have add block so then it must be add's they put up themselves on the ustream. Or he lost a spin in the other program.

Tomorrow GT will most probably be back to #25: Derulo goes recurrent plus SIA and Pitbull are set to drop below GT. None of this help with the loss of AI though... This is right on, IMO. The only thing to prevent 25 would be if GT loses spins and that causes Pitbull to not drop below. GT has to hang in there! Lots and lots of drops and recurrents above in the next 2 weeks. LOTS! Which is exactly what has happened. Lost spins and Pitbull is still above so we are looking at 26 this week. That is not the issue though. The issue is consecutive days now of lost spins and a full point in AI. It is still up in spins over last week. Not knowing what I am talking about, but I assume the published report is what counts for a "loss in spins" ding. Thank goodness for the very strong start of the week. OK Now what?

kworb hasn't updated the radio charts yet, so I cant see what is going on...why 27 and not 26? 1D is in top 20? "now what?" - WB will figure out I am sure In the meantime in the land of OZ: iTUnes as of 8:20 EDT: GT - #2 TOH the album - #1

Ok, seeing some doom and gloom expressed but I'm not seeing it when looking at my charts. Today's negative numbers are all just a one spin loss on syndicated shows so it will probably effect tomorrow's numbers too but the normal radio plays are still doing their job. It's just back on it regular trajectory and that's a bit hard to adjust to after the afterburners were turned on for a bit last week.

Trouble is, the "regular trajectory" is not going to be enough to move this song. I don't think things are necessarily gloomy, the song just might be done. We will see what happens this week--that should tell a lot. I trust that WBR has it figured out.

I was actually relieved that it was only -36 today. We were up against last Sunday's +106.

However, 1D will be flying up this week and Gaye will most likely pass as well but others will be dropping. Kind of back to the jellyfish. As long as the spins go back to the positive column, we are in the same mode of slow burn. My concern was the number of consecutive days of spin lost seemed atypical but I also understand that big bumps can have consequences if the momentum isn't at least maintained. Just a request. For those of us newer to this game, it is nice to give us the space to ask about the trends we are seeing in either direction. We value the opinions of those who are more experienced. It can be a little disheartening when there are labels like doom and gloomers attached to posts posing honest questions. I know it was not meant to be harsh but it has been a literal rollercoaster of a week and it was a bit crushing to see this kind of correction for GT especially in the AI. Had no idea most of the 18 new adds already were strongly spinning so as a newbie, I had expectations that spins would be increasing or at least holding. Just seeking some feedback on what this might mean. Not heading for the hills.
