i didn't think that interview was bad at all. It just was what it was. They covered a lot of stuff in a short period of time and everything about Adam was very complimentary. I get not liking the style of it but listen again, its not as bad a s you guys think. Welcome bid4444!! Glad you found us! Hope you hang around!!!

As much as I love this new album, I'm not as happy about Adam backing off and singing quieter and more restrained. I love his big voice and miss it on most of this album. I know it's hard to sing that way for a whole concert but GNT was out of this world. I also know he did it because it would be more radio friendly and it's worked, but I miss his full voice. I understand that Adam craves that #1 top 40 hit and superstar status, and believes that to attain it, he has to sound more pop-y, more restrained. But, the thing is, Adam CAN sing very softly and intimately, with great emotion, and still use his full voice and head voice. Think of the beginning of Save Me, for example. He can keep all the beautiful richness of his voice. Or do folks think that would sound too good? Too posh? Too pure? Whatever, I miss it, too.

Thanks Cassie. I guess I was meaning emotionally because I thought the performance made a really powerful statement. All the vocal technique stuff I leave up to you and others here. As much as I love this new album, I'm not as happy about Adam backing off and singing quieter and more restrained. I love his big voice and miss it on most of this album. What I really miss is there is no equivalent of a "Soaked" where everyone who hears it, especially live, is blown away. I missed from the Trespassing era and this era. I remember that was the one song (Knoxville version) I would show to people to really show them what he can do. I recall reviews of people who witnessed that song live (not Adam fans) who called it operatic and then "got" what people saw in him. I remember my sister saying that Adam should just sing something like that on American Idol or other show with a large audience and that would really blow people away and gain him respect. Unfortunately, those type of songs are usually not singles, which he typically promotes on those shows.

Adams not a opera singer, hes a pop.singer singing pop music, what do you expect lol. Lyrically its hard to get those big songs. Soaked was opera rock, and was another era. And gnt was a full on tour, this was just a gig. And re paul henry lol, your clearly not famiar, welcome to our world, he is who he is. I dont think.he needs to gain respect, hes already prooven hes the worlds best live vocalist.

Paul Henry was not near as bad as I feared he would be. I like that he thought Adam was bigger than Kelly or Carrie. Maybe in NZ he is!

I get not liking the style of it but listen again, its not as bad a s you guys think. The fast, clipped manner of speaking and understated sense of humor is what I thought Adam enjoyed about being with Brits. He was extremely complimentary to Adam throughout the interview, showcased his talent (albeit in a somewhat strange way), and covered all the bases except for naming the song, Ghost Town. Basically, he was in control of the dialog although Adam more than held his own. Adam was able to articulate his statements regarding the veracity of what was thrown at him and did it in a witty, charming way. I think Adam's quick repartee was totally unexpected by the host but he seemed to enjoy it. The other interviews were much looser and many seemed to have a much sillier content. ADAM SHINED IN THIS, even if he seemed totally exhausted.

i thought that was fun...the host talks fast and over but he wasnt rude at all! Adam sure looked tired though...even puffy from fatigue. when does he get a decent break?
