The first episode of Idol aired on Jan 13th in 2009. Adam's first appearance was on the 20th. I've seen these photos before, but I hadn't put them in context. Here Adam is out at the Upright without much makeup. I can only think he was aware that he might be photographed and he was concerned about his Idol image. This twitter account which is from Russia fans I think knows nothing about bands They responded to devenlane cause she was wondering about how Adam is gonna play there, if there seems to be a hard rock festival and Adam is more popish AdamLambertRUUA RussianUkrainianFans @devenlane have you seen who would play with him? Travis, Brainstorm, Zenfira, The Prodigy& Korn. 70%of them are not hard rock bands I must say that its exactly the opposite. I do not know about this festival but this year the bands that are playing are hard hard rock metal bands . That is why I believe Adam is gonna go totally on the rock side of himself vocally. And since its a one day concert he certainly can do it without doing any harm on his voice. Now I dont know how is he gonna make it work since all the other bands are so hard rock, I think I saw a post saying that they're gonna be different stages, cause otherwise I dont know how on earth is he gonna go on stage after a metal band. Such a different crowd from what he's used to. Just saying my thoughts To give you an idea if someone doesnt know these bands ETA LOL I dont want to scare anyone, Travis are popish and I know nothing about Zenfira.  |

Thanks for posting the videos of the other bands being part at the Moscow concert, Gelly. I found a timelime: BRAINSTORM // начало выступления в 12-15* // ADAM LAMBERT // 13-45 // TRAVIS // 15-15 // ЗЕМФИРА // 16-45 // KORN // 18-00 // THE PRODIGY // 20-00 // So Adam will be the second act after Brainstorm. IMO this is a good decision because hopefully at that time most people will be Adam fans. Many fans of Prodigy and Korn will come later (at least what I get from some russian boards) to avoid Adam. Those people don´t care about Adams voice - they will not appreciate him. I have to admit that I really do not know who made the decion to let him play at this festival or what they were thinking. Perhaps he will go to Sweden to work with Max Martin or/and visit Saulis family in Finland after the show. At least his russian fans will finally have the chance to enjoy him. I hope many of them will be there to support him. I just saw the Durbin interview and I cannot even begin how over I am to hear or read from this guy or AI at a whole. But there is no way to avoid this or I have to stay away from all Adam sites.... : Two more weeks and it will be over! Hallelujah! |

Thanks Carla for the info. So Adam will be after Brainstorm but before Travis who are also pop, and the other bands will perform next to him. So IMO its a good thing. |
