The numbers thread is a hard place to live - no AC for some, no electricity for others. Hope ya'll get cool and powered soon. Actually no electricity means no AC too. Ugh!!

I do not see any adds today, but I'm not really surprised because a majority of stations have already added. Tomorrow may be the same. He has the stations, they just need to play more. I really hope he will do a bunch of PR before he heads to South America!!

Frustrating! I know GT will be 23 on Sunday, but I am frustrated that all the things that should have made radio increase spins by a lot, haven't: Good callouts, good BB bumps, good sales bump 2 weeks ago on its own, Cumulus block, have pretty much just kept it sloggging along!

Maybe WBR feels the song has done well enough without any additional pushing. Maybe they are happy enough with low 20's and are "saving" some deals for the next single. Because I am really surprised that not even one station has put GT on a power rotation for at least a short amount of time.

I think GT did what it was supposed to do which was get Adam reintroduced in a new way. Not sure any other single choice would have done that! Still expecting GT to advance a few more spots by end of the month. Then the new single in Sept. Quite a few countries are ready, already, for single #2.

I wonder if he will do any Jingle Balls for larger IHeart stations. Timing would be great to give a second single a nice start

Still expecting GT to advance a few more spots by end of the month. Then the new single in Sept. Quite a few countries are ready, already, for single #2. I have a feeling that GT had it's peak last week on the Dutch charts. Airplay is dropping now some although it should be increasing compared to last week (Q-music had a special last week). It's still spun quite some times, but as I said before we are lacking a station. GT is also outside the top 10 now here in iTunes and dropping further because of the lack of exposure (only top 10 is on the front page). It will be around for some time still as I don't believe stations will stop spinning completely right away. Also it's now #11 in Spotify which is the highest so far. But unless something weird happens I don't think GT will gain more places in our charts. I do believe GT will make it to double platinum status somewhere in the next two weeks though. So when Adam is back in Europe at the end of August he might have to stop by in our little country to pick that one up if they request it. I really hope the next single will be picked up by Skyradio as well, because that will give it a bit more potential. I really got no idea which would be the best pick though, but I trust WBR and Adam to make the right decision in this. GT did it's job here in the Netherlands perfectly. I don't think there is any teenager or young adult in this country that didn't hear GT somewhere during the last couple of weeks. Maybe someone who is living under a rock or something of if they only listen to Skyradio . And even then it was played in the background on the TV as well some times.
