Misha, if you remember, the lyric video came out at the same time as Ghost Town! Same night The official music video came out on April 29th, which was 8 days later. So, IMO, "Yes" the video will be made before he goes to S A! The turnaround was very quick. I think only 2 weeks! ETA: Just researched it. Video was filmed on the 11th. Posted to You Tube on the 29th. So maybe this twoish weeks of dead time really aren't all that dead afterall. Just saying......

Can I just ask people about this, as my head is spinning for other reasons...... Queen + Adam Lambert Tour back to 6 shows 8.11.15 by Q3
On August 8th there were 6 Q+AL shows in South America.
On August 9th there were 9 Q+AL shows in South America.
Then on August 10th we were back to 6 shows.
My head is spinning round.......what happened, did I miss something?????????? They listed 3 additional concerts on AO.com but then removed them. Perhaps they were listed too early and will return? Thanks Q3. Mmm, intriguing...

Adam has commented about it a few times but (thankfully) many, many Adam fans do not have a camera in front of their faces the whole time. I think it was <5% of the audience who had phones up at Moronga -- enough so we got tons of video but not too distracting. >> I don't remember which concert it was but believe during Trespassing Tour he said something about it from the stage. Does anyone remember? This is such an tricky subject to broach, but I'm in. I love that we have vids. That said, phones really schmucked up my only chance to see Adam and Queen less than 15 feet from the catwalk during QAL. These were VIP tickets and a hoard of fans rumbled to the front and proceeded to put every damn phone in the universe up in the air high, high, high. I saw Adam and Brian only in passing when a phone zone opened up. It was also very distracting. Phones up, phones down, phones up..you get the gist. And so it is..a conundrum. I totally get what Benedict Cumberbach was trying to say. Internalizing a performance without the use of devices. And then I'm selfish enough to want vids. I thought VIP might mean for something but in this case it was most unpleasant. Much money spent on watching Adam through phone lenses. OK, I'm done. When I went to New York for QAL I decided to take only a couple of pictures. I wanted to involve myself deeply in the live event because I had a great spot beside the catwalk. I took only 5 pictures. I'm deeply thankful to the people who are taking pics and vids. I found youtube vid where I'm waving at MSG (thank you Laurie S).

So, IMO, "Yes" the video will be made before he goes to S A! The turnaround was very quick. I think only 2 weeks! ETA: Just researched it. Video was filmed on the 11th. Premiered on ET April 28th. Posted to Adam's You Tube on the 29th. Maybe so! I originally thought that they would definitely try to shoot the video before the tour, for the reasons I mentioned. Maybe that's partly why Shoshanna's visiting LA next week---in addition to coming for some other major promo they've *hopefully* got planned for GT. But the more I think about it, the video shoot would be a lot to fit in before he leaves. They would have to have locked in the choice of a single, developed a concept for the video, hired a director, crew, extras, found a location, etc., by now. Would Adam have had time to help facilitate all that while doing promo in Australia and New Zealand? He was already being pushed to the limit with interviews and performances and travel. Difficult but still doable, I guess. I had forgotten a bit about the lyric video. It could be a placeholder and still count for the Billboard charts. Maybe the Fresh 102.7 station sponsoring the concert in New York will be an almost lone early spinner in late September with an actual impact date for most stations on, maybe, October 6. The lyric video could be released around then, and then the actual music video around October 21. That would give Adam time to film it after the tour. I noticed Demi released her recent music video two weeks after her lyric video. I do think that's a possible scenario. But if they wait until around October 6 to release a lyric video---because they can't release it too far in advance of the music video---it still seems weird to me for a song to be "out there" on the radio (and probably media will pick up on the news) in late September (even if it's only getting spins on a few stations for the first couple of weeks) and for there not to be any kind of video for it other than the audio (old news) that's already on his YouTube channel. I guess we'll see. Obviously, they want fans and media and radio still focused on GT for the time being to give the song its best shot at climbing as high up the charts as it can. Having a top 20 song would be good. And they also have to keep the spotlight on GT at least until after this *hopefully* upcoming promo event here in the States and the awards show performance in Poland and maybe some promo in Europe through the end of the month. Question is, will his UK promo in September focus on GT or the new single? Will his team consider GT dead in the water there, or will they still try to push it? If they use that time to promote a new single for that market, I guess we'll have our answer about the song they selected. Would a new single even have a chance on radio there if it hasn't been released or had success in the States yet? I think it's unlikely that it would, so I can't figure out what type of promo he's going to bother to do in the UK during this "in-between" time. If there is one last major promo event here in the States before he leaves, it'll probably give him enough of a boost to land securely within the top 20. And the song might continue to rise for a few weeks based on that bounce and might hold steady for a bit after Labor Day, but will probably start to fall after then unless, in a change of fortune, something about the song just suddenly grabs the public's consciousness and it takes off, or spins exponentially increase---especially since Adam won't be around to follow up on promoting. And I can't really see what more promotion he could do for the song after then anyway. He should probably save any additional promo opportunities for the next single. In September, GT's path is all up to radio play and listener response. And, my final in a string of long and rambling thoughts: I think they'd want to shoot a video for "The Original High" on location in Los Angeles. A video for "Another Lonely Night" could be cool filmed in London or anywhere else in the world (so could a video for "Evil in the Night"---I'm still holding out hope for it as a long shot! : ) Although I'm also really leaning toward ALN as an excellent choice for a fall single.

Do you know if the two gentlemen saw the video too? Yes, they have seen it. Actually the gentleman from Argentina found the video on youtube. Also he emailed me a lot of pics and vids which he took at MSG. Imagine, QAL linked together one grandmother from Finland and two charming gentlemen from South America. Life is wonderful
