Exactly. I don't understand the "push" this late in the game, really seems too little too late... It is nice to see the AI increases, but the spin numbers are stagnant anyway... I do hope there is some "master plan" behind all this. IMO, this push is all planned for single #2! The timing had to be now! They know what they're doing, we don't! oh, sure they know and we don't :D it's all learning for me... that's why it would be interesting to understand the reasons behind alleged behind the scenes dealings... are they looking for some "peak" bragging rights, like "top 20", or "reached audiences of 20 mil", or "stayed in top 30 for X weeks", or just let radio know they are ready to throw $$$$ at them in support of Adam... ..perhaps your friend in the industry could share some insights

I think they looked for two things, the threshold numbers that Adam announced in twitter (well they would have taken whatever threshold they got but round numbers are great) and songs above that were poised to drop and there are a lot of negative spins in those higher placement songs. The new AI is increasing exposure when you take a look at YouTube comments. This long slow rise may be perfect for a reintroduction vehicle. Much better for the radio decision makers to see his sustainability and not a flash in the pan. Ghost Town could earn a gold star and go recurrent without making it into the top ten and so still can be used as a talking point.

Look at all the songs that zoomed past GT (Maroon 5 Fucking Summer anyone?) and then disappeared. That One Direction song is dropping fast. Would have been nice for GT to be top 20 (or top 10!!), but top 30 is nothing to sneeze at, and it sure has been able to stick around! But like pattihum said, this latest push hasn't really helped sales. That's what I'd love to see - more album sales as a result of all this! But I'll take what I can get, lol!

GT won't go recurrent if it keeps a positive bullet and does not go Top10. It can stay in 11-23 forever! LOL! Remember, BB counts AI, not radio position. The new BB number will be up!

Some nice surprises coming from New Zealand on iTunes today:
Ghost Town #1 New Zealand (That's a nice surprise!)
Album: The Original High #3 New Zealand (Another nice surprise!)
I wonder what happened in New Zealand to cause this!

Should we expect Bieber's new tropical house song "What Do You Mean" to affect GT on radio in any way?
Thinking about it, this is probably why Bieber was cancelled from Fusion Festival, because he was planning to make his comeback announcement.

Why did I not notice all the big negative spins above GT this morning! Weeknd (CFMF), OMI, Skrilkex, Swift, Platten, 5H, Zedd, Tori, WIZ, Silento!
