I don't understand. Who would have embraced it with more enthusiasm? Roger and Brian seemed pretty enthusiastic to me. Given the fact that it was Brian who suggested GT inclusion in the first place I don't think we need to worry about Queen's willingness to play it It was AMAZING! Good grief...I had no idea anyone would assume I meant Brian and Roger....yikes...

Coming up for air after WWTLF. We need a DVD of this show! I haven't seen anyone mention this. Maybe I missed it. Adam's tattoos seem to have some gold highlights on them. Has he added gold? Can a tattoo have gold paint? Or did he use some of those stick on metallic things? It was mentioned 'somewhere' when I went over the threads today....yes, he seems to have added gold body paint to the tats... EDIT: Bamafan & Pattihum said it was stick on metallic stuff

This U.K. tabloid, Daily Mail, has printed an article about ex-bass player, John Deacon. They also mention the SA Tour. Boy, he looks his age and IMO, I would say even older, whereas Roger and Brian are like "splashing" in the fountain of youth (thanks to Adam). "This week the group’s remaining members, Roger Taylor, 66, and Brian May, 68, set off on a tour of South America. Former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert, 33, is taking the place of singer Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991 after suffering from Aids."

Way late to this conversation, but I believe the comment was in response to a just prior comment about 'lukewarm' crowd response to GT not about Queen playing it.

Makes me wonder how Brian has kept all of his hair all this time. It's quite impressive. He has a ton of hair for a man his age.

I don't understand. Who would have embraced it with more enthusiasm? Roger and Brian seemed pretty enthusiastic to me. The audience....they politely liked it but may have more passionately loved the others...just my opinion and clearly coloured by my own, possibly flawed, preferences. ymmv I think that you are going by the official livestream audio. The audience loved "Ghost Town" and sang along with the entire song -- they knew all the lyrics (because WBR has it all over Brazilian radio.) The livestream was amazing but the audio was deceptive -- it was NOT the sound the audience heard -- it was the soundboard sound with some of the audience noise mixed into it.

And when it happened, they sang every word with him! Unreal!!!
