Given the fact that it was Brian who suggested GT inclusion in the first place I don't think we need to worry about Queen's willingness to play it It was AMAZING! Way late to this conversation, but I believe the comment was in response to a just prior comment about 'lukewarm' crowd response to GT not about Queen playing it. Oh shit.....LOL....guess I started the misunderstanding. And to be fair, the audience audio seems a little "muted" on all the responses. I know Q3 said it is edited for TV transmission....so it's really hard to gauge the intensity. So, I'm gonna go with Marisa's on the ground impression that the audience loved Adam and GT. ETA: And I see Q3 and nica explained it again above while I was typing.

But the crowd did not have a "lukewarm" response to GT. And they sang along and knew all the lyrics. You just can't hear the crowd in the official video -- unless you turn it way way up. ETA: The audio we got was NOT what it sounded like there. It was stellar and I am so thankful that they balanced it with Adam's voice and the instruments clear as can be. No unintended distortion -- and not drowned out by 80,000 people singing along.

Just saw Adam as a trending topic when I checked Facebook. It says: Adam Lambert: Singer Performs Solo Single 'Ghost Town' While Serving as Frontman for Queen The band played the song during a concert in São Paulo, Brazil. Lambert has performed as Queen's lead singer in concerts since 2011, in replacement of the late Freddie Mercury.

This U.K. tabloid, Daily Mail, has printed an article about ex-bass player, John Deacon. They also mention the SA Tour. Boy, he looks his age and IMO, I would say even older, whereas Roger and Brian are like "splashing" in the fountain of youth (thanks to Adam). "This week the group’s remaining members, Roger Taylor, 66, and Brian May, 68, set off on a tour of South America. Former American Idol contestant Adam Lambert, 33, is taking the place of singer Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991 after suffering from Aids."
link here for photo and full article: John Deacon Not read the article yet, but didn't John Deacon retire on health grounds..? EDIT: ‘I think he’s a little fragile' says Taylor....fair enough.

From what I read the crowd was singing with Adam and gave him great applause..I had so much trouble getting the sound to be louder on my computer ..The crowd for each song clapped and roared on the youtube videos.. but the stream sound was a bit low on my end and the applause seemed to be cut off after seconds..I tried my Iphone,my I pad same same.. at one point,I had everything going at once. What a GREAT concert... I think Adam reached his zenith.. but I think so each time and he out does himself time after time...HOW??????

LOL! How did I know he'd comment publicly? was waiting since the SP concert A proud moment for him! Actually, he did comment about the SP concert too. Full comment says: mrsterlingfox#Queen and #adamlambert setlist from Sao Paulo. #ghosttown Just had my favorite band of all time play a song i wrote. Humbling and also really fucking awesome I know, he wrote most of the song and has every right to self-promote, but he just reminds of this long complicated joke I like to tell where in the punchline God says, "I don't know Ebenezer, there is just something about you that chaps my butt."

Thankyou, Houselady, much appreciated... Guys! Watch the official video if you can. It is shame for a rip to have 3 times as many views as the host's official video does. youtu.be/6jBE49okQs4

Yes, but it's a shame the official video is missing part of the first song...
