Most of the modern smart TVs have the capability of playing video & audio files of various formats straight from a usb memory stick or usb drive. But every model is different. If you send me the exact model number of your new TV, I can grab the user manual online and tell you what will work with your new TV. Most modern Blu-ray/DkVD players also have this capability. So, you can copy your favorite Adam Videos and music to a usb drive, stick it in the proper slot on your TV or DVD player and watch the videos or listen to audio. No long cables from your computer, no internet connection needed for YouTube. Dancy, you are a treasure I have been using an HDMI cable to watch Adam's streams and videos on my TV, but after you mentioned the USB stick, I went to check my TV and I was so happy to find out that my TV has a USB slot. I am soooooo happyyyyyy.
Send me the make and model of your TV and I can lookup the particulars for playing files from a usb drive on your TV. For some, usually older models, it is only for pictures. For others, it may only play certain types of audio and/or video files. There is no standard. It is all so different from one model to another. One really has to read the user manual for a particular unit and know how to interpret what it says!

The sound system is Sony HCD-BC150. S master Digital Amplifier I am looking for a new TV and would like to use same sound system. DVD player, radio, cd player but am not adverse to changing out everything. My only qualms are if a new system could use the same wiring. Can't change that as it is impossible to get to the wires as they are integrated into the body of the RV. The woofer itself means taking out a fireplace to get to it. I've talked to Best Buy and they have said they would hook me up, but I didn't explain everything to them. There is this bose system I want..... The joys if RV living. Don't really need Blu-Ray player as we have one in the casita but would be nice to have another. I found the manual and see that this us a 2004 DVD Home Theater System. Are the speakers from the same set? If so, then I can get the speaker specifications from the manual. This unit has no usb port. Also, it has 1-way communication with the TV. It sends a signal to the TV but will not receive a signal back from a TV. So if you buy a TV with usb port, it can play a video from a usb drive but will only send the audio to the TV's built in speakers. It will not send the audio back to the DVD player and hence will not play over the sound system speakers. Plus, the TV MUST have "Component" video input as that is the only type of connecter the DVD player has. You cannot connect between the 2 with a HDMI cable. You should be able to easily find a more modern replacement for the DVD player/amplifier that will work with your existing speakers and wiring. The trick may be finding a home theater type unit that is sold without the speakers. Another option would be to by an amplifier and a Blu-ray player that are separate units, uf they will fit in your RV. The new unit needs to be compatible with the speaker's impedence specifications, i.e., the "ohms" rating for the amplifier and speakers must match. So what we really need to know is the make and model of the speakers. If you bought the home theater package, then I can look that up online. speakers came with the system and are Sony ss-ts10. Really sounds like I should buy new system for the new tV. Wiring should be wiring right? since I seldom watch tv just hasn't been an issue but I want ADAM!

One on one of the laterals and the other two on the back.
Thank you :-)

The user manual for your system says that both the amplifier output and speaker input are rated a 4 ohms! You need to find a unit where the amplifier output is also rated at 4 ohms to work with those speakers. Your system has stripped wire connectors. If the new amplifier has jacket connectors, you should be able to buy jackets to attach the stripped wires to. Are the wires attached permanetly to the speakers, or do they unplug from the speakers?

I should not complain about how long it has been and will be until I get to another Adam concert! {spoiled} S.A. Glamberts have been very vocal about wanting him there, too. I have seen them on Twitter and FB for the 6 years! This QAL tour and the RIR performance has been a win, win, win, win situation for Adam!
