They got their star in 2006. Is it something else? Checked it again under that exact title, didn't see a date. It is an old article, somehow you are in their archives. Includes obviously old news like "Meanwhile the band's musical We Will Rock You, which opened in London's West End in May, remains the UK's biggest selling show."

I just got home from a crazy ass day at the office which kept me away from todays thread. I just watched last nights Ghost Town as I missed it on Perscope - HOLY CRAP - it just keeps evolving and getting better and tighter - I LOVE IT

speakers came with the system and are Sony ss-ts10. Really sounds like I should buy new system for the new tV. Wiring should be wiring right? since I seldom watch tv just hasn't been an issue but I want ADAM! The user manual for your system says that both the amplifier output and speaker input are rated a 4 ohms! You need to find a unit where the amplifier output is also rated at 4 ohms to work with those speakers. Your system has stripped wire connectors. If the new amplifier has jacket connectors, you should be able to buy jackets to attach the stripped wires to. Are the wires attached permanetly to the speakers, or do they unplug from the speakers? they unplug. The salesman at Best Buy suggested a bose system that he thought would work, but I have a problem believing salespeople who what to make a sale regardless. And who think it would work

Includes obviously old news like "Meanwhile the band's musical We Will Rock You, which opened in London's West End in May, remains the UK's biggest selling show." Queen got their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2002, according to this BBC article published on the day the star was presented: news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/2339131.stmFriday, 18 October, 2002, 08:43 GMT 09:43 UK Queen honoured with Hollywood starRock band Queen have been given the rare honour of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The star, being unveiled on Friday, means that the group joins the Beatles in being become one of the few non-US acts honoured this way. Brian May and Roger Taylor are attending the unveiling by Johnny Grant, the honorary mayor of Hollywood, in front of the Ivar nightclub on Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. ETA: Johnny Grant died in 2008, another sign that this is old news.

Send me the make and model of your TV and I can lookup the particulars for playing files from a usb drive on your TV. For some, usually older models, it is only for pictures. For others, it may only play certain types of audio and/or video files. There is no standard. It is all so different from one model to another. One really has to read the user manual for a particular unit and know how to interpret what it says! It's a LG 32LS5600-ZC. I have just seen that there are 3 USB slots. One on one of the laterals and the other two on the back.
Thank you :-)
I found information on the LG UK site but not the USA site. What country are you in? But the user manual only shows 1 usb slot and it is lateral?? Are you sure the 2 on the back are usb slots You TV model can play video files in a wide variety of formats and audio files in a more limited number of formats. It will play audio in mp3 & m4a/aac format, but does not look like it will play flac format. flac is the really high quality audio format that I like. Also, they recommend either a usb memory stick of 32 GB or less in size, or a usb hard drive of 1 TB or less. And the drive must be formatted in either Windows FAT32 or in NTFS format. You can only put files less than 4 GB in size on a FAT32 disk, so I recommend using the NTFS format. Some of the better QAL video files are over 4 GB in size!! Both of these formats are easy to do on a Windows PC, but a Mac PC will not write to a NTFS formatted disk so your only choice on a Mac is FAT32.
