Mods.. Would it be possible to add links to the places that have written about and link to ALN on page 1, if it's easy? I'm on the phone trying to keep up and click and retweet on any links posted, and it would make it so much easier to do if links are posted .My iPhone screen is soooo small..

I posted this on yesterday's thread, but since it was so late I thought I would post it again (hope that's okay). Adam's new video really hit me close to home. I love Adam's new video for ALN, and I can actually relate to it quite well in my real life because I spent 15 years as a (mostly) parish pastor. I still do ministry but in other forms. I know what it is like to perform marriages and blessings for couples on their special day while feeling alone in my own life. It really is a performance sometimes--not in a fake way, but I have had to do weddings after breaking up with a boyfriend, when I haven't been feeling good, when I haven't gotten along with members of the wedding party, etc. As a singer, performer and pastor, sometimes you just have to put on your happy face and get on with business. It is as much part of doing my job as knowing how to use accounting software would be for an accountant. I will say that even when I am in a bad mood or sad when I begin a wedding/performance/whatever, I am usually in a good my by the time it's done. It is true that acting happy and having others respond to you can cheer you up a lot! And I just saw it over there and loved it!  |
