Thank you, everyone!  I worked today and my manager was so nice.  I think he was almost as excited as I was.  He's fairly new there and has really sharpened up the place.  He was telling me all about the different benefits I'll get as a full-time employee.  Even said if I needed any help with any of it to let him know.  He's a pretty cool dude! 

I just spent over an hour going over all the health benefits.  Lots to absorb there...lol!  One thing I've always liked about this particular company since I started is that they are LGBT friendly.  As I went through the health benefits, there is a special place for same sex couples.  Pretty damn cool!  Also, they are one of the companies that will match your donation to a charity up to a certain amount per year.  I have to remember that when I am able to donate again.  I remember someone mentioning that a long time ago, probably one of Adam's Bday charities.

I have 30 days to sign up for any of the benefits that I am now eligible for.  For now, I'm going with the dental insurance, and then in Dec., when we can sign up again, I hope to be able to afford health insurance.  Luckily, I'm pretty damn healthy for an old dog...hehe!

When I hit my 1 yr anniversary, I think I'll get a raise also.  And, as I mentioned, I'll get 40 hrs. of vacation time!  Pretty flippin' excited about that.  Right now, I cannot afford to miss any time at all.

Stardust, actually, the hours I'll be working for the next 2 months will give me lots of Adam stanning time!!  YAY!!  Starting the 1st of Feb., I'll be working 3 days during the week for the regular book keeper while she's on maternity leave and then my regular weekend.  But, the hours are 5am to 1:30pm, so I'll have all afternoon & some evening time also!  Perfect!!  And, I'll have a regular schedule with Wed. & Thurs. off every week! 

I talked to my oldest son yesterday afternoon & then youngest son last night and they were both so excited for me.  They made me feel so damn good.  Kept telling me how proud they were of me.  Awwwwwwwww  They're such great kids!  I'm so lucky. 

And, the best thing of all is I really love my job!  The people there are so nice and all work together.  It makes so much difference when you work in a compatible environment.  And, it's only 5 minutes away from home! 

Yep, it's all good! 

Thank you all again for your kind words.  You've all been so sweet and supportive and that really means the world to me.  This is definately my *2nd home*.  Don't know what I'd do without all of you.....and Adam, of course!!

Congratulations Lynne!!!!  That is so exciting.   What a PROUD mom you must be!  Isn't it nice to see all your son's hard work paying off for him?  Let your son know Adamtopia is happy for him too!  {{Hugs}}

Lynne, congratulations for your son and his new album!!!!!!!  I would love to listen to /buy these songs, can you provide links?  What is the name of the album, and what is his "recording" name?  As a slight inconvenience for me, I have not been able to load iTunes onto my new computer, but I will find a way to get these songs.
I know how proud you must be, it is so gratifying when your child is able to make their dreams come true!!!  Also, it is great fun to be the mom of a creative person that can make art.  KUDOS!!!!!!
