Fun day for me! My son's debut album just came out in iTunes today and one of the singles is ITunes free single of the week. He does electronic indie dance music called nu-disco. He is part of CLASSIXX and the album is called "Hanging Gardens." The single featured is "All your waiting for". it is fun to see a bit of all the craziness at this end. Love to you all! How fun! I DL'd it from iTunes. Like it a lot!!!

Hi Guys!! Just a little bit of news about what's been going on in my life. On Friday I became a Gma again! Well, a Foster Gma, anyway. My son & DIL are fostering an adorable new born baby girl. She's a week old today! She's a tiny thing, only 4 lbs., but so perfect! She has a full head of black hair and the most perfect features. But, OH so tiny!! She's no bigger than a loaf of bread...lol! I sat and held her yesterday for the first time and she just snuggled right into my arms. My Gson is delighted that he has a little sister. This may or may not turn into an adoption. We won't know that for a while. But, I am so proud of my son & DIL for taking this little one in and loving her. She couldn't have found a more loving place, for sure. I can't post pictures of her because of the rules, but believe me, she is so precious!
My other son & DIL in HI have just purchased their 1st house! It is awesome and they are so happy about it. I didn't think to copy the pictures before they took them off the website, so no pics of that either. In time, I'll have some to post when they send them to me. It's a very nice, medium size home that is just perfect for what they need.
I'm so happy and proud of both of my boys! I've truly been blessed. Also, most of my RL hassle is finally getting settled. What a relief that is. I may even get back to posting on the main board one of these days.
Well, off to get ready for work!! Have a great day everyone!!

Lynne, congratulations on your son's success! Glittergma, glad to hear things are going well for you When I was in Arizona last month I passed out, hit my head, and ended up in the ER. While I was in the ER they discover my thyroid is not working right. Since I got home I've done a bunch of tests and tomorrow I go to the doctor to find out what treatment they want me to do.Please send out postive energy that no surgery will be required and that they didn't find anything bad on my tests.

Thankfully with most things on the Thyroid they just give you pills. I had surgery 35 years ago, lawdy such a long time, I was in grade school. They didn't take it all and the rest is working fine so I don't have to take pills, but I still have to have blood tests and they ultrasound it every couple of years. The Thyroid isn't quite like the appendix but they have a pretty good handle on working with it so rest easy.

Sending positive vibes your way, tinafea. I don't think they do much surgery these days, plus now they have lasers. My mother-in-law had thyroid surgery 45 years ago. She takes a tiny pill each day and has never had any problems. She'll be 95 years old next month.
