Just a note to tell you I am with you everyday in spite of my poor health recently. Had a major heart attack June 9, and after going through several weeks of difficult breathing, the situation seems to be getting better. Adam continues to inspire while all of you on this site give me comfort. Thanks to everybody. oh my gosh. I understand, Adam's my relaxation too but I haven't had to deal with a heart attack. Glad you're starting to feel better.

Epilogue: The Rest of the Chandelier StoryIn late February 2017 I made a decision to sell my home and move to a smaller apartment. I reluctantly came to the realization that I couldn’t take the chandelier with me. As I was determined that it should remain in the hands of a Glambert, I approached my local Adamtopians (Didilynn, Scorpio, and MomtoMany) to see if one of them would have a place in their home to showcase this treasure. MomtoMany’s husband, Gary, thought their upstairs bedroom would be the perfect place, so we made plans to transport it to her home in Santa Rosa. On March 24th the chandelier came down from my ceiling, was wrapped in 50’ of bubble wrap and then a quilt, and was sent off with a Mimosa salute to its new home in Santa Rosa. Once again it replaced an existing fan, so there was plenty of support and power for it. Here is a picture of it hanging from the 16-foot ceiling in MomToMany's beautiful bedroom! On October 10, 2017, I received the following update from MomToMany on the terrible fire that was raging thru Santa Rosa: “Gone. Our family home will now live on in the giving and generous hearts it helped create.” She followed up a few weeks later with this photo of all that remained of the chandelier: A few weeks ago, on June 3, 2018, at another NorCal Glambert lunch, MomToMany gave me one of the very few items recovered from her home after the fire. This is one of the large 3-inch crystals, all that remained of over 500+ crystals that made up this beautiful chandelier. Heartbreaking, yes ... but we had so much fun with this treasure while it was in the hands of Glamberts, we can only say this about the chandelier:

Thank you so much for sharing. I did not know that anything remained of this "infamous" chandelier. So glad that you have a memento to cherish...What great ladies you two are - It has been wonderful to follow this adventure of sharing and caring for everything Adam...Hope to see you again soon - maybe Vegas?

Oh dear, that is a sad epilogue! It still remains a wonderful story. I'll just think of Adam's chandelier now being in chandelier heaven which would be an incredibly beautiful place. We have four small chandeliers in our house and I love them. I especially love the ones upstairs that some nights gleam in the moonlight. I hope your apartment is working out for you. Any chandeliers in it? And I do think of Momtomany sometimes and wonder how she is doing. Do you know if she is rebuilding her house? I was worried the other day when I heard there was another forest fire in Northern California.

No chandeliers in my apartment, but otherwise it is working out very well, I'm really happy not to have homeowner work and worries anymore! MomToMany finally has approved plans and is beginning the rebuilding process. As soon as they could get back to their property they put a borrowed RV on it and lived there while a "tiny house" (290 square feet) was being factory-built for them. They are now living in the tiny house until the rebuild is complete, then the tiny house will be moved to the back yard and will become a guest house.

JustKaren That's good news about MomtoMany. Well, you may not have any chandeliers now, but you do have one special chandelier crystal with a story.

I have Sad Eyes right now. Aww, so sorry for your loss. I went through that a year ago when I lost my Minniature Schnauzer. She was 15 years old but I still wasn't ready to say goodbye. 😓
