So sorry to hear about your boy Glittergma! Reminds me all too easily about my own 2 dogs, now gone for several years, so I know just how scary it is. You'll know what's best for him, and he's a lucky dog to have so much love in his home. Hang in there!

I saw Take That with Robbie Williams at Wembley Stadium yesterday. Spectacular show....the second of 8 sold out dates there. I was one of 85,000 fans...about 80% women The whole tour (all stadiums) sold out in one day This was one of my favourites and shows the great atmosphere. From about 2.30 on the WHOLE stadium was singing along with arms in the air ! I would love this for Adam but not sure I could bear to watch only on the big screen!

OMG what a great feeling, having a whole stadium clapping along with your song!! I love Robie Williams, I think he has one of the best voices in pop music and I never figured out why he didn't become huuuuge in the US as he should be. I never understood how these things work. I hope we'll see Adam at Wembley some day. And as for the big screen Shev66 I agree, that's why I will make anything in my power to be right in front of him, even if I have to stay there for hours and hours!

Gelly
I have no idea what time people were queuing to get to front and Wembley has a lot of entrances...looks a bit claustrophobic to me...but the whole show was absolutely amazing even from a distance !
I have seen Robbie a few times ..he was my favourite before Adam...doesn't compare now but I still love him! He was crazy last night (in a good way!)

I have to post & run soon, but wanted to thank Jazzrocks, sugaree, MWP, maitospf, seoulmate & fiercelier for your good thoughts and kind words about my Foster boy.
I'm waiting for the Vet to call so I can go pick him up. They're running bloodwork this AM, and then we'll go from there. I can't wait to see him....it's been 3 days and I miss my boy so much!!
I washed both of his beds & just got done making his food. I make a kidney diet food recipe that I found online a few years ago. I hope he's eating better when he gets home. Wasn't too interested in food at the Vet, which is understandable. Wasn't eating much before I took him in.
But, anyways guys........ALL OF YOU........Thank you all so much for the support. It truly means so much to me!! This is a wonderful board with so many amazing people who post here.
I'll keep you updated, no matter what. I'm still thinking positive thoughts and will continue to do so. Right now, I just want my boy home.
Hugs to you all!!

Foster's home! My Vet didn't have the results of the bloodwork when he called, but thought I should go ahead & take him home. We visited before I left, and things sounded very grim. Dr. Otto even teared up, which of course, made me cry. He said he would be suprised if things turned around for the better. So, I've been here, trying to stop crying to no avail. Foster has been drinking water and ate a small amount. Dr. O said to give him anything he wanted and spoil him rotten. So, I am. Dr. O just called. The bloodwork came back and his numbers (kidney) have improved 50%!! Still not out of the woods, but Dr. O sounded much more optimistic just now. He was honest about it. We just don't know at this point if Foster will continue to impove. But, Foster has one amazing Vet rooting for him!!! I'm so lucky I found him when I moved here. He's the BEST!! But, he did say that it was excellent that he was drinking water and eating. No vomiting as of yet, so crossing my fingers there. I'm giving small amounts every 1-1.5 hours. I can't believe that I amost gave up. Shame on me. But, I'm going to try to stay positive now and hope for the best, once again. It's all up & down right now. I have a call in to a g/f who I know has some Xanax. I'd laugh at myself about that, if I could. I've finally stopped crying after 2.5 hours though. I've been hiding off & on so Foster won't pick up on my emotions. Shaking it off now!!!! POSITIVE THOUGHTS!!!! Hell!! 50% improved is awesome!!!! I BELIEVE!!!!!!!! Thank you all for letting me ramble on & on. This is just one of the hardest things for me to deal with. And, it's not just about my loss here, just so you know. I do not want Foster to suffer in any way. It's so hard to know when to make that decision, but fortunately, I won't have to today. Going to go sit with my boy and tell him how very special he is. ~Hugs~ to you all!! You are my rock right now!! TY TY TY!!!

Aww, glittergma, Foster sure is lucky to have you. Sounds like you're doing everything right. Hang in there, deep breaths, and just know you're doing what you can. That's great news about the 50% improvement. Keep up the good work, Foster!

glittergma..... Man! What an emotional rollercoaster!!! I'm sure you said you had four days at home? But what happens when you go back to work? Is there a neighbour who can check on Foster every couple of hours while you're working. Jeeez, how stressful to have a sick furry at home when you can't be there to watch over him. :-/
