Awww seoulmate bb thank you thank you..... Thank you for the happy tears. I wish all moms in the world could see their child being happy. I didn't mind the weight I had to carry , I only wanted to see her validated. Today is her first day and she woke up at 6 a.m. even though she had to be there at 8.30. She's so excited!!I hope she gets to love her job!

..................SHE RECEIVED THAT CALL AFTER THE INTERVIEW AND SHE'S GOT THE JOB!!!!! All those years of non stop reading payed off!!!!!! This could not have happened at a better time!! I wanted to share this with you, all of you NEVER give up things CAN CHANGE!! And I believe all the good karma I got from Atop MAJORLY helped!!!! Gelly, I'm a bit late catching up as usual, but I'm really, really pleased for you (and for her - goes without saying). Seeing our children happy, is the best lift in the world isn't it? :D :D xx

I feel like I know some of you so well already that it is OK to let you all know that I have a sister in emergency with very serious heart complications arising from chemo therapy for lung cancer, and the consequential blood clotting...and thinners. It is very scary right now and it is a ferry ride and a 16 hour drive to get there.....but so much more convenient to have a vehicle. So depending on the news I get in the am I will be holding tight......driving across country....or catching a flight.
I lost my youngest sister to cervical cancer 12 years ago and now this. Yes...she is a long time smoker and it is smoking related.
I am anticipating that checking in here periodically will become my major respite and pleasure for the next while. Put out all the good thoughts to the universe that you can.....
Thank you all.

Mszue,, I'm so sorry. I can't even imagine. I'm thinking of you. Hang tough, and try to remember to take care of yourself as well as your sister. Remember to and eat an sleep in addition to all the worrying and traveling you're doing. Wishing for the very best--people can fight through an amazing amount of hardship. Hugs.
