Oh, Tinafea, what a sad time for you and your family. Sending good thoughts out to the universe. Focus on the love and have someone stay with him, because being alone can be very scary. Hopefully, the chemo will turn things around.

Just to put some happy in here. I'm going to see Jimmy Buffet Friday night in a beautiful outdoor ampitheatre on the ocean. I'm a big time Parrot Head. Next Wednesday is hubby's company fishing trip. I love being on the water, and fresh caught fish is the best. And, the best news. Hubby got assigned an airport project in San Juan for the winter, which means that Shadow and I can accompany him on his trips and get the hell out of the snow and frigid weather - for free. Yay! Congratulations! That is my favorite way of visiting new places ... free, yeah! PS, would you kindly throw some of that frigid weather this way, I am about to melt. ;D |

Just wanted to thank you all for the kind thoughts. There is no change yet. Radiation didn't work so they've tried chemo this week. Stardust, he's been sedated and on a ventilator since last Friday so he doesn't know when we are there. Family is still going up daily, we just don't stay all day. Hopefully the chemo will work then we can hover 24-7 when he's off the vent.  |

Must add my positive thoughts and energy for your brother, tinafea. News like that must slap you right in the face. Stay strong and cherish every moment - miracles happen!
....and to all you beautiful women who've lived through similar circumstances, and those who've lost your husbands - I'm in awe of your strength.
Life IS short, isn't it? I've got to stop sweating the small stuff, it feels shameful to worry about minor things when others are bearing so much!
