We've discussed Aaron Hicklin here, Moser, and many others, when they have said things about Adam. |

My comment was going to be that it would be a shame to allow James to ruin the fun and anticipation we should be feeling this summer in advance of Adam's single and album. I'm sure we all have someone in our family or social circles who we've tried to protect from pain or disappointment by speaking honestly about a subject but they won't listen. James was not brought up as Adam was so he thinks it's cool to trash talk and be the macho tough guy. If he makes it big, good for him, but I think we all know that is unlikely, especially if he continues on the musical and personality path he is pursuing. And about Lady Gaga, nothing she does, just as nothing James says, has an impact on Adam. To angst over other people's behavior is a useless emotion. I've seen it stated before and I totally agree, you can't control other people's actions only your response to them. Our response to James - total dismissal and NO RESPONSE. To Lady Gaga, she's Gaga, she's going to do what she wants and when fans tire of it, she will either change or fade. |

Ooops. I just realized 4 or 5 people brought that lovely tweet over. That's what I get for posting before I finish the thread.  Oh well - Once is not Enuf! May I bring up the topic of Adam2? I know the subject right now seems to be JD & Idol Finale, but I've been wondering about the status of the album. Someone said SOMEWHERE (???) that he was apparently finished with writing and recording because he was now concentrating on the artwork (cd cover etc). Can this be true?? Jeez, I know time flies when you're having fun but it seems as though he just started working on it in earnest. How could enough songs be already written? I'm confuzzled. Or I'm living in a time warp And what about Max Martin? And Mark Ronson?  He started in Feb. and I would guess that the only thing he has done are demos to show RCA. I'll bet he isn't even finished with those yet, jazzrocks. I would be shocked if there isn't a Max Martin song on there. Or maybe Max will produce some of the tracks he's already come up with? If the VH1 BHTM is coming out in August, I would put sometime in August for his single. He is definitely not done yet and is still in the process of selecting and recording songs. |
