Translation: 0:00 - 0:45 "There might be a conflict brewing at the Maxidrom Rock festival between the fans of the pop artist Adam Lambert and the fans of the cult rock group Korn." - this rumor was on the internet before the concert started. Yuri Dontzov, one of the festival organizers: " About two and a half weeks ago we received a letter from Adam Lambert's fan asking about how Adam's fans would be protected. Then, the funniest happened - about a week ago we got a letter from Korn fans asking how THEY would be protected from Lambert's fans. 00:45 - 1:08- Even Korn Front man Johnathan Davis was skeptical about Lambert's performance at the event that over the years earned a reputation of being a Rock festival: "his participation is surrealistic..." Q3 comment: This is an example of a news item associated with the concert and appropriate for posting in the news thread. A video of Adam performing or signing autographs for fans belongs in the concert thread. These kind of concert-related news items are very rare. If in doubt, post it in the concert thread.
So is this the dude, Jonathan Davis, the frontman of Korn www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqqyedMz9X0&feature=relatedHe's not even singing : . Just because he sings harder rock, doesn't make him better than the pop/rock singer... and VOCALLY.. Nothing compare to Adam Lambert Poor Zac ... :(

I have to say that because of the guess that Adam is heading to Finland, I have been thinking of Meet the Fockers all day long LOL And then I was remembering back to when I met my inlaws, one long passed and the other in the early stages of dementia. I was so nervous. My husband had a completely different upbringing from me. What truly wonderful people and I love them very much. Somehow though, I doubt that Adam is nervous at all, just excited Lots of lucky on both sides there I am thinking.

There is something very odd about the Moscow Pride event. Nikolai Alexeyev, the most prominent gay activist in Russia and the man who has led the fight to get the legal right to hold the Moscow Pride events since 2005. "Nikolay Alexandrovich Alexeyev, also written in English as Alekseyev, Alekseev and Alexeev (Russian: Никола́й Алекса́ндрович Алексе́ев) born on December 23, 1977 in Moscow) is a Russian LGBT rights activist, lawyer and journalist. On 21 October 2010 Nikolay Alexeyev won the first ever case at the European Court of Human Rights on LGBT human rights violations in Russia. The Strasbourg-based court unanimously ruled that by banning three Moscow Prides in 2006, 2007 and 2008 Russia breached three articles of the European Convention. In January 2011 Russian Government asked the Court to refer the case for re-consideration to the Grand Chamber. On 11 April 2011 five judges panel of the European Court dismissed Russia's appeal and the verdict on illegality of Moscow Pride bans came into force the same day." From Wiki -- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikolay_AlexeyevI cannot find any info about why he wasn't there or any statement from him about the event and arrests.

Just reading the Yahoo news and one of the stories was that NYC got unseated as the world city with the most billionaires. Guess what is number one now!! Today Moscow is the city with the most billionaire residents in the world.OT but about this article about Russian billionairs and my country. There is a very wide area, very close to my city, about 2 hours , called Chalkidiki . To me and to many people in the whole world, one of the best places for vacation. Clear waters as the ones you've never seen in your life combined with mountains and forests above the sea. Well, Russian billionairs are coming here and they're buying EVERYTHING. Either for business or for their own villas. Russian real estates came here only for them. And also to connect this with Adam they pay huge money to invite to a party a well known artist. I mean HUUUGE money just for one night.

The global concentration of wealth in the hands of a few (0.05% of people) is really a problem.

Gelly, I have visited Chalkidiki three times in the end of 1980's and I enjoyed it very much! I stayed at the Kassandra peninsula and we made boat trips around Sithonia and Athos peninsulas as well. I also visited Thessaloniki on all three trips! It was really nice there! It's been way too long... maybe I should come and visit again! ;D

This quote caught my eye. Way more support was given to Adam Lambert than Kris Allen, and we all see how much effort the "Idol" machine put into launching Lee DeWyze's career. Was this true in the beginning? Kris got a great song for a lead single. I remember MJ's criticizing Adam's decision to become a "celebrity". Kris was doing small gigs while Adam was "partying". Adam was networking. He did Red Carpets, Magazine photo shoots (which he said he didn't get paid for), he gave an interesting interview. Every AI tour interview Adam won the reporter over with his charm. Dozens of interviews and different information came out in each one. Kris stated how he hated all those things. He was a home body who preferred to stay home. I have nothing against Kris and am not trying to make a Kris VS. Adam war. I just feel like Adam isn't being given enough credit. Did he start with more label support or did he earn it? This quote from Lyndsey surprised me, too: Way more support was given to Adam Lambert than Kris Allen, and we all see how much effort the "Idol" machine put into launching Lee DeWyze's career.Kris won Idol and got the winners promotion. He gave countless radio interviews and promo performances. He was given more TV appearances than Adam. He was promoted by Disney. I'm sure there was more that I don't remember. Kris, however, is not a self-promoter. He neither wants the media attention nor knows how to use it to his advantage. Adam is simply in another league when it comes to promotion. He does his own & grabs whatever management gives him and runs with it. This reminds me of fans complaining that the producers gave Adam special treatment for his AI performances. As far as I know, any contestant could have had special lighting or walked down those stairs. The others simply didn't ask. Okay.. I don't mean to rehash season 8 again, but kids in season 8 if they want something they will send Adam to talk to the producer. For example, they don't want lipsync in the group number anymore, they sent Adam to talk to the producer ;D
