There are many, many private club that have no limit on hours -- just a small "membership" fee. These are underground clubs that frequently move. It's illegal to sell alcohol between 2:00 and 6:00 a.m. It's illegal to have it on a table in a hotel or restaurant after 2:00 a.m. You make me feel so --- edgy.

My post about the Finale was all positive and a link would not have bugged me as much as the exact quote pulled from here and tweeted out by someone who is not me. It has made me rethink how or if I will post some RL Adam encounters in the future. :( ETA: I am probably being too sensitive. I PMd Q3, at the time, and she talked me down from the ledge! FYI EVERYWHERE I saw your post, I saw it along with only GREAT and POSITIVE comments about you, even on this LJ

FYI EVERYWHERE I saw your post, I saw it along with only GREAT and POSITIVE comments about you, even on this LJ Same for me. It was copied a few places but by fans who loved it. I have found for every negative comment about Adam or Adam fans or a specific Adam fan, there are usually dozens of very positive comments. And the negative comments are usually made by the same small group of trolls and mischief makers. The exception to this is when Adam fans think that someone has crossed the line and invaded Adam's privacy -- like what happened to Hollygo72 at the Hotel Cafe. I am not a fan of this kind of digital smack-down but I also think that fans needs to draw a line between being a fan and believing that Adam is their friend and stalking him. Fans are not friends. Stalkers are not fans or friends. JMHO YMMV.

We all take things from other sites...we as a whole are a nice, respectful group so usually don't feel the need to add ~comments when we copy-paste. Everything is open to everyone on the Internet...

Haters are going to hate. We can't be afraid to love life and enjoy all things Adam because of some miserable people who get their kicks out of making fun of others. I'm glad when I see factual information put out there, knowing there is a risk that it will incite the haters. If we stop, then the haters win.

Erm....... [frustrated sigh] Well, those dipsticks are always going to snark, and (after reading the comments), its obvious they've got a Russian translator of their own. They could have done it without your help. However, they didn't have to come here themselves. Your translation was up on mjsbigblog within a few hours of your posting (didn't recognize the poster). Well part of it. [shuffles] I added the rest of it on mj's b/c whoever posted it only brought the beginning, and not the part where everyone was happy at the end. I thought that part was just as important, so I added it to mj's concert thread myself. Was that ok? I also briefly recapped the other semi-translation where you said that the reviewer authors were rather snide, but the comments (by actual concertgoers) were universally extremely supportive. I had seen that article floating around, and wanted people to know that the authors were getting slammed by people who actually SAW the concert. I don't normally bring things back and forth between boards, but this Moscow show was new territory. Can you please PM me if you're upset? Nope, not upset at all - I am happy that more people had a chance to know what was happening... It is the site and the context that is upsetting me. Obviously - that's internet, and I reacted more to the ugliness of the commentary... it came on top of the exhausting 2 days of actually experiencing the vile tone of Russian radio and press first hand... (my expectation were exceeded by far to tell you the truth) .... the mother-bear in me is totally standing on back paws trying to protect our BB :-[ (the tone of those idiots DJs will be with me for a long time - it is NOT just the words they used, it is the little giggles, and winks, and innuendos....it was so ugly and dirty that I needed a real shower)... OK, sorry for bringing this all up on this glorious day :-[ ...and I know that the BB had great time, great concert, is enjoying himself in EU and that there is nothing to worry about.... and Russian fans were and are awesome! Adam felt real LOVE from them all the way ;D

There is someone on FYE on LJ that is either a member here or lurks constantly. She keeps up to date with this board and constantly makes fun of us. We are "old ladies", "crays", "confused", etc. Posting on FYE is anonymous so she doesn't hold back. I have my hunches. Well, I ain't OLD, but guys are no longer ogling me when I walk across the campus. I have earned every one of my years and am proud of them. And, I freely admit to being absolutely cray about Adam's voice and performance. Confused? Not in the least. Except about sound checks vs performances. And sometimes on how to safely download stuff on my computer. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a wonderful, witty, intelligent, diverse, supportive community here that I am extremely proud to be a part of. I have never understood the need some folks have to ridicule others thru the anonymity of the internet. It must be terrible going thru life with such a black cloud over your head and in your mind. Don't plan on going elsewhere to read ugly snark masquerading as haughty sophistication and elitism. This pool, deep and shallow, floats my boat. Cassie, I <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE this post! And, congratulations on your radio debut! Do you know if there'll be a podcast of the transmission?

Nica575 -- congratulations for making VFTW -- it is a badge of honor in my book. But they did not give you credit. So just a silver badge!

HannaBec RT @ soulagent83 More of Sauli's interview translated: bit.ly/mAnq4h3 minutes ago via TweetDeck I already had a little crush on Sauli, but after reading the interview? I'm feeling a little flail-ly in love. He is a really genuine, sweet soul. They are quite the example of how your life can change in an instant.
