I checked out FYE at one point. There is usually a berting thread, which can be entertaining, but they also have what they call a wank thread. It's full of comments from people who think they are too cool for school, complaining about other posters, complaining about other sites, making fun of basically the rest of the fandom. Very high school. We were all that young once (although I don't remember being deliberately cruel) and they will all eventually be this old. Not a one amongst them has an opinion worth paying attention to. In the meantime, Gelly has given us her opinion on Adam's tweet of the odd angels (fast train to Paris). Any other speculation? New pictures? Maybe new video from Russia? Sorry! I must be a very bad fan and also stupid, but what is LJ and FYE? It would be good to know what I have missed so I can enjoy the loss. Sitting here patiently waiting for Adams arrival. We have Max Martin! 8-)

It will be interesting to see what her second week sales are without the giant discount to help her out. With Amazon losing $3.2 million and selling $440K with the 99cent sale, I doubt they will do that again. Gaga wanted bragging rights. She is projected to sell 1 million the first week, so she can compete with Taylor Swift and a few others. What is sad, is that when all is said and done, when they are quoting stats in some article in the future or on billoard, the price will never enter the picture, only the 1 million sales of the first week. She is cunning as a fox and can afford to be cunning becasue this will generate tour tickets. I am no longer Gaga's fan. She steals too much from other artists and has become so full of herself. Read an article today in the latest Rolling Stone magazine issue Katy Perry and Robyn, both will be touring together soon. KP is another one who has become too big for her britches. Gaga and Gaga's management knew nothing abut this sale and had nothing to do with it. Amazon wanted to steal customers away from i-Tunes and saw this as an opportunity.

I told my kids and several of their friends about the 99c deal. NONE was interested in getting the album EVEN for 99c (ages 18-21). I remember they used to be crazy about her - that was at the time of the Bad Romance...So, I am not sure what is happening... Unfortunately Adam is off their radar completely...may be one day...

Why do I find this hilarious: Snooki, of 'Jersey Shore,' is taken into custody in Italy after crashing into a police car - @phillybrk bit.ly/l8mZxb

Amazon is not considering this a loss. This is advertising money to them getting people to come to their site so they can promote their other services like the cloud thing. They did this out of advertising budget and look at the press they got out of it. Cheap at twice the price. I am glad they released the figures though so you can tell how much her sales were boosted. Once the figures come out we will know for sure whether she hit platinum without it (doubtful). I'll be more interested to see if she has a higher than typical %sales drop in the second week. That will show even more how badly the sale inflated first week sales. I'm not going to blame Gaga for this because Amazon stated clearly that they are paying the full wholesale price to the label. I have more of a problem with Gaga's other gazillion corporate tie ins but given the reports that she is bankrupt after her last tour she needs all the help she can get.

That was a great interview. He sounds so grounded, just like our BB: "K: Has the crew around Adam, like the manager or something, given you any rules or something, how you need to behave? S: No, I haven't been given any advice like that. You get far by using your common sense."

I bought it only because it was $.99. I like 3 songs on it, so buying the album was cheaper than buying the 3 singles. I'm sure I am not the only one who did that. I would guess that the second week drop will be huge!
