Also, I personally love Underground over ALN and over a couple of other songs that he sang or didn't (TISI), but I'm not complaining that "he didn't sing my fave song". I just think The Light is a must because it rocks the concert and sells him to new audience and excites current fans I "get" what you are saying, but I don't think the live version of The Light is as much of a bangin club song as the album version is. It is beautiful. He takes the vocal to the next level. But w/o the complete backing track, not as much of a club song as the album version. And, hate to tell you this, but he will always do his hit singles. So whether you love IIHY or not, it will always be there. Since he is the artist, his choice on how. Isn't The Light energizing live? Is it outdated? He never had a reggae single. IIHY's significance is another discussion. It's no WWFM. Was IIHY a signature hit in US? Will anyone in US recognize him if you say he's the guy who sang IIHY 6 years ago, yet aside teens? In OZ or another country maybe, but I must have missed hearing IIHY in US. I actually heard NCOE in supermarkets around, but never heard IIHY or know anyone who had it in their playlist if not a Glambert. He doesn't seem to "have to" sing his Trespassing singles although NCOE could be less outdated. The main thing is he's not singing his single. He's singing an unknown Reggae song.
