I am another fan of The Light...such a catchy song... I took me a little while to get used to some of these songs but I think I liked The Light immediately... I would love it to become a single but I don't think Adam see it the same way as me and some other fans since this was the second time he decided to skip the Light in shorter set...
Also have to say how much I love Lucy, I liked that song already on CD but the live performances are phenomenal.

Anyone besides me curious about why no back up singers for the last 2 shows?  May be working on dance choreography for tour? I was a bit puzzled too, however it was re-assuring for me that Dani confirmed her excitement about upcoming tour. |

Isn't The Light energizing live? Is it outdated? He never had a reggae single. IIHY's significance is another discussion. It's no WWFM. Was IIHY a signature hit in US? Will anyone in US recognize him if you say he's the guy who sang IIHY 6 years ago, yet aside teens? In OZ or another country maybe, but I must have missed hearing IIHY in US. I actually heard NCOE in supermarkets around, but never heard IIHY or know anyone who had it in their playlist if not a Glambert. He doesn't seem to "have to" sing his Trespassing singles although NCOE could be less outdated. The main thing is he's not singing his single. He's singing an unknown Reggae song. In the US, IIHY is much better known than either BTIKM or NCOE. The music video was played for week's on Disney's music video show. It was on VH1 for 20 weeks or so. IIHY (reggae version) was well received by non-fans in Buffalo. From Justin Bieber's "Sorry" to Omi's "Cheerleader" CHR is filled with reggae-pop. I am not a fan of the reggae version but I saw a lot of 14 year old girls dancing to it. So perhaps Adam knows what he is doing. My college-age daughter told me yesterday that she is getting more into the reggae vibe. I have always loved it. |
