I'm copying his story over here for posterity, very moving: ______________ Chase Lough to Adam Lambert A meet and greet is never enough time for more than a quick photo but I wanted to say thank you. Not just for the amazing performance tonight in Buffalo but for writing an amazing song that was at the right moment in my life to point me in a different direction. Walking a razor's edge of despair or happiness, the words in "Whataya want from me?" pushed me in the right direction. After an abusive relationship that, at its peak, resulted in me receiving four stab wounds to my head and part of my ear bitten off by someone that supposedly loved me, I ended up meeting the man that truly would change my life. I know the words you wrote had a specific meaning to you but for me, it helped me (and my husband...married five years now, together eight) to get through 14 months of night terrors, severe PTSD and so many other things that I can't even fathom how we got to where we are today. When days were at their worst, I put it on repeat play. As for my husband, well I could not have put it into words any better than you did. And he understood how I truly felt and stuck with me. That's the beautiful thing about art...everyone has a unique experience in its beauty. What I spoke of in this post is just the tip of the iceberg of my experience. I do not let it weigh me like an anchor but tell my story so others can realize that no matter how bad it gets, there is always hope I don't know what "Whataya want from me?" means to you but to me, it meant a chance of surviving and even more important, at happiness. After all of that, the words 'thank you' can never express how I truly feel, but the sentiment behind them can. Thank you Adam, for allowing me to have a perspective of your art that changed my life...and thank you to my husband Francisco, because you didn't give up. — with Francisco Furtado at First Niagara Center.

Watching Adam on stage tonight was fabulous. It was so good to see him singing his own songs in a large venue. About 5 mins before the lights went down I looked around and thought there were a lot of empty seats, but I remember looking around one or two songs in and a lot of the seats had filled back up. As mentioned there were a lot of young children there and it had been a long day. Adam looked happy and relaxed and very at home on a larger stage. Did I miss seeing his hair - of course - but he had such a sparkle to him tonight that it didn't matter. Was his outfit my first choice for him - no - but his persona comes through no matter what he is wearing and he draws you in. I was in the floor section and everyone around me was on their feet and loving every minute of Adam. Someone from the radio station had told me that the set would be longer than published and unfortunately that was not the case. I wanted to hear Shady and The Light, but I will look forward to those live when we get TOH tour. I see this as a warm up or a teaser. Lucy, which has been one of my faves since day 1 was AMAZING !!! My friend who dropped everything and came with me last min today had a blast and I think I can consider him a Glambert in training. We had close to a 2 hour drive home and I was the driver. I had him pulling up various videos of Adam and QAL and his jaw dropped. So glad you had someone with you to share the feeling. I bet the drive home passed in a flash. And thanks for your audio, it was great.

Geez Louise... He came. He sang. Apparently it was good. Pretty sure nothing else matters, but from a quick scan here... Lucy best ever. It was too rock for tweens. No The Light. But why not there were tweens it would be perfect. IIHY reggae is awful. It's current and makes it interesting for younger audiences. His pants were too baggy and cap is daggy. He was hip and gorgeous. People left early because he said mother fucker. They were trying to beat the traffic. He shouldn't have been last so people didn't leave. But he's the best so of course he was last... Did I miss anything? Love you all but sometimes all the AAD (Adam Angst Disorder) makes my head hurt. #stilllovethemoo #later You DIDN'T miss anything! Perfectly put together.

IMHO it is good to focus on what DID happen. This was a huge crowd. Even with many leaving, it is the biggest crowd he has played to in any of these shows. Like it says in L'il Abner - "honey, what you gots left over is more than what most folks starts out with". The point is to play for new fans. He did that and there was something for everyone. Omissions happen. I have my opinions on what I would have liked to see and hear but what's the point? It was huge exposure and from the comments, there were many who really loved it and thought he blew the roof off. Enough for me. My thoughts exactly .

(Re: Chase Lough ...meet and greet story) WWFM will always be Adam's song...even though written by Pink, Max Martin and Shellback. I must admit I do not know who writes songs for people...I never check! I might learn vicariously... Although Adam Lambert is my exception...

Also, I personally love Underground over ALN and over a couple of other songs that he sang or didn't (TISI), but I'm not complaining that "he didn't sing my fave song". I just think The Light is a must because it rocks the concert and sells him to new audience and excites current fans I "get" what you are saying, but I don't think the live version of The Light is as much of a bangin club song as the album version is. It is beautiful. He takes the vocal to the next level. But w/o the complete backing track, not as much of a club song as the album version. And, hate to tell you this, but he will always do his hit singles. So whether you love IIHY or not, it will always be there. Since he is the artist, his choice on how.
