Dislike for rap may be somewhat age based, but I think it has more to do with personal taste (as cassie mentioned). Rap was just starting to get big at my college my last year or two, I was certainly young enough to get into it - mayny I knew did - but I was never able to enjoy it. For me, melody is by far the most important part of music. I dislike rap & I dislike bluegrass and the primary reason for both is that I feel like there just isn't any melody. Rhythm alone just doesn't do it for me.
Jamie - sorry, but I don't want a Willie collab! Totally personal here, but either he or a member of his entourage pulled a hit&run on my brand new car. My father was driving it while I was on my honeymoon (his car was having some work done) and he parked it at a local resort hotel where he was picking up a client. Willie and his entourage were checking out (and totally dominating the hotel lobby and staff). They were the only ones to enter or leave during the 10 minutes he was inside (it was very early in the morning). When he got out to my car, there was a huge dent in the side where someone had crashed into it and then left. Soooo ... totally has nothing to do with the music! I just don't like Willie. (Might have something to do with it being my very first brand new car....)

I am sitting here with tears in my eyes. I got up this morning all groggy, got my coffee and came here to Atop.....as usual. And what do i find......Birthday greetings for me! I am so touched! I have followed you guys since MJs to PF and then here, but I never posted much. I'm a professional lurker and never expected anyone to mention my birthday. THANK YOU so much. Atoppers are THE BEST! I'll try to post more often. I also want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone here for all the pics and vids and just downright fun you guys have provided. This is the best place to get my Adam fix everyday! Luv your username..hope you had a super day!!  |

Anybody watching SYTYCD? I'm guessing Sasha's audition is tomorrow night when they show the LA auditions. I don't see her any of the commercials- I guess i was just hoping we would see her face by now. I know the spoilers suggest she made top twenty, and I can't wait to see what she did for them.

If you were referring to lynne's post about her son's comment, it was "Teenage Dream" not CA Gurls. I had a fast burnout on CA Gurls, but not with Teenage Dream. And Firework, I love. Bonnie McKee wrote Teenage Dream!  lol CA Girls got stuck in my head. You're right, it was Teenage Dream, a much better song. I will refrain from posting Jamie Glambert's Adam fan vid set to TD. |

Anybody else think Twitter is acting wonky? I went to look at Adam's feed (its too quite here and I'm bored,lol), and the most recent response I can find is from two hours ago. I know things are slow today, what with him slinking around all anonymous-like in London, but I know that can't be right.
