NAL stands for Not Adam Lambert. The acronym was born on the Planet Fierce board before I started hanging out there, I think as a joke based on an AI8 tour headline that called it a concert by one person who was named Adam Lambert and nine who weren't.
Some of this happened before my time so others who were at PF from the beginning please correct me.

The acronym was born on the Planet Fierce board before I started hanging out there, I think as a joke based on an AI8 tour headline that called it a concert by one person who was named Adam Lambert and nine who weren't. Some of this happened before my time so others who were at PF from the beginning please correct me. I think it originated with the Barbara Walters 10 Most Fascinating People special. She talked about Idol and said, "And the winner was-- not Adam Lambert." People picked it up from there and started referring to Kris as Not Adam Lambert, or NAL. |

As I remember it, also from Barbara Walters's 10 most fascinated people when she said the person won the Idol was "Not Adam Lambert". Just came back online, how excited it is to hear about Adam/Christina's collaborations, Adam wanted it so much. Good for him if it is true. eta: Haha, murly, we remember the same thing. |

I love his laugh. And everything else about him, of course. Agree with the person on twitter that said she just "wants to reach out and bop him on his cute little nose". He makes everyone laugh, in any language, 'cause of his silliness.  |
