All one has to do is ask. I've never seen the responses delayed. The internet is full of acronyms, especially Twitter. Chunkey used to have an acronym dictionary on her site. I wonder if it's still there? I will check and then steal it! ;D yes of course, one can ask. But honestly, I have no desire to learn the shortened versions of the words these things stand for. Perhaps it's because I'm a little OCD about trying to use proper grammar and spelling, even online, that all the acronyms drive me batty; to me they just seem like laziness. I type in full sentences even on text and twitter whenever possible LOL... JMO and I can just scroll when they are used, it's what I usually do anyway. When it becomes more about scrolling then actually reading here I'll go elsewhere for my Adam news/information. I'm one person and since I seem to be the only one it bothers no need to change anything on my behalf.  You don't like aconyms? ORLY? IMHO I may have misconstrued what exactly you were saying. ROFLMAO. Oh well. YMMV. =b Edited according to forum rules. Know it was meant to be humorous, but could be read wrong. |

I still don't know what all the letter thingys mean. I was certain that ETA meant Estimated Time of Arrival, not Edited To Add. I did wonder why no one ever included the actual time of arrival, though. I remember asking what OLFIP meant back on PF. I never found that one funny. I spent the most time trying to figure out asj+djru%wop!w;pdk#fgu%gnr)nszzkk3@*^. I'm fairly certain I spelled that one wrong. Hahaha... well it all depends upon the community I guess. In my past life ETA DID mean estimated time of arrival in the shipping freight community:-) and now I know what it means here. |

No word yet on how producers will fill the hour-long results shows, but here's hoping for an encore performance of "Crazy" (or maybe "Forget You?") by coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. I know who could help them fill the hour! I have a suggestion how to fill-in that hour  : 1. Adam + Cee lo - Crazy 2. Adam + Adam > This Love 3. Adam + Blake - Ring of fire ;D 4. Adam + Christina > New duet |

You are not alone wonderstruck. I detest abbreviations and/or acronyms. The other day someone mentioned their SIL. I assumed they were talking about their sister-in-law, until near the end they said "he" and then it dawned on me they were talking about their son-in-law!  I'm kinda old fashioned and it's just easier to have things spelled out (literally) for me.  |

Just had to step in for a sec... IMO Xtina is the most powerful female vocalist and Adam is the most powerful male vocalist right now and I would LOVE to have them collab-duet. Of all the possibilities for a singing collab this is the one I would wish for him. And we all know this is one of his dreams... Agree, Universe please make this happen! And hope fans of both will send out positive vibs all around:-) Exactly, and they are very evenly matched in other ways, so it would be an equal collaboration in so many ways - this makes me SO happy !     |

I'm afraid I may have opened the can of worms by simply stating that if a collaboration gets Adam played on KIIS then I am all for it. Did I say he should or could or would? Nope! Never said that.
I stated several times that I am on the #AdamcandowhateverthehellhewantsandIwillloveit team (including a collab) Do I think the right collab might get him a door into the 'elite' KIIS playlist? Possibly. But it's not my decision, never said it was. I've stated several times in the past, "Adam doesn't listen to me." NoAngel has that position cornered! He's writing a song for her, not me! Do I think the right collab would be awesome? Absolutely! He comes from theatre, he could do any collab more than justice. And so many seem to be afraid that Adam would get lost in a collab.... C'mon! It's Adam f*ckin Lambert. Him getting lost in any song is just a such a foreign concept to me. It would be virtually impossible! I hope that I am not opening that can of worms farther -- I was not responding to anyone's specific comment, just expressing my opinion on the idea of Adam doing a vocal collaboration. Outside of the UK and there only as a tactical way to get around the British content BBC rules, it doesn't make strategic sense to me. (I still think a UK duet single would be a smart move.) A collaboration could be brilliant -- if it makes sense creatively. I think Adam + a diva could make creative sense. I think Adam doing hip hop fusion with B.O.B would look like a "me too" at this point -- very 2010. For over a year, I have read comments post on ATop and other fansites about Adam collaborating as a way to get airplay. I do not see how a collaboration would get Adam on KIIS. KIIS plays Top 20 songs and other hit songs that have a contemporary urban dance beat. For HAC-oriented material they often do not add until they hit Top 10 on CHR radio airplay. Some songs that make the National Top 10 on CHR never get added by KIIS. For example, The Script "Breakeven" was never added by KIIS. If Adam puts out a electro pop/dance song that has a hot, contemporary beat (not a retro vintage beat track and not neoglam), with or without any collaborator, I bet that KIIS will add it and play it. FYE just did not have a song that fit their playlist or that was a megahit KIIS "had" to play (like Taylor Swift). Tons of artists are hugely successful without being played by KIIS LA. I just do not see this as essential radio support for a successful artist. (That is not saying that it would not be great if KIIS put an Adam song into Power Rotation.) |
