Lol. Srsly, since they bought out most of the stations in my area we only hear the same 10-15 songs. I mean I hear Kesha literally every hour on the hour. Sometimes twice. Once during Christmas time I went out for the day with family and everytime we got back in the car her song 'We R Who We R' was playing. Every. Single. Time. I am not exaggerating when I say I probably heard the song 15 times that one day alone. Clear Channel can rot in hell. lol But I'll give them a pass if they finally play Adam lol |

Without the current options, I would not have all of you to commiserate with....you can't have just 'part' of a revolution or a movement....it all goes together. Most of us could not afford to go to many concerts...there were not that many of them in the first place, and you did not always even hear of them. I listen to far more music and have far more choice now than ever in the days of having to go to the music store to find something. That was fun when I was a child but not any more.... Mszue, I am so with you on this one. I have always been a music lover, but have learned so much and broadened my interest in different kinds of music since internet/digital options became available. I love that I don't have the clutter of LPs, cassettes, and CDs (I finally sold them all at a garage sale). I have almost 8000 songs on my iPod that I can listen to anytime, anywhere, and in any way I desire. I don't need to hold onto the album cover for nostalgia. All I need is to hear the music. The changes in the way we receive information today are remarkable, but they require adjustments. There are many kinks to work out, but overall, I think they are positive changes. Wonderstruck--I am a fan of your feisty posts too. |
