Adam has a very different career trajectory. He did not get the "winner's sales bump", he did not have a big hit coming off of Idol. Instead, he had two Top 40 hits in 2010. His is likely to put out an album that is more current and more commercial. I will make a bet on Adam's sales when I hear the album. But I expect that he will deliver something radio-friendly to RCA and will almost certainly have a follow-up mid-tempo ballad for HAC-AC radio. Q3- IMO you will win the bet. Adam really wants to make it in the music business and he wants to have longevity in his career. He wants to have his own mark in the music map, without giving up his integrity as an artist. We all know Adam is a great observer of current music business, also if we listen to all his past interview, his knowledge of music in general is amazing. Well.. he said it's part of his job to watch what's going on in current music business. This is part of his interview with Lyndsey Parker: So he's going to work really hard now to make those hit music/songs. Because he doesn't want to fade out

Since adamrocks mentioned she wanted mp4s of the Moscow concert I made mp4 from the whole concert. Just some info. I watched each and every vid for a week now and I decided that the best vids come all from one YT channel militaryjanne's Great audio, video, good close ups and also great view of the crowd. Of course this is only my opinion, LOL. I only included another WLL from walerica89 just because from 1.50 and after, the close ups are amazing but it is cut at the end, there are 30 sec missing I think. It is the first one on my mediafire. The other WLL says WLL COMPLETE. So if someone wants to download them feel free to do so. MOSCOW CONCERT MP4 FOR DOWNLOADwww.mediafire.com/?r=1213#v75anvq8b7xxq,1 I can't get to your page. Is it me?

I find the comparisons difficult because Adam is wholly unique – as game changers are. I think the fact that he went through a slow, but respectable climb bodes well for A2. Those who feel he didn't "earn" his place (reality show backlash), will have softened a bit. His radio promo/touring schedule proves he has an incredible work ethic and is willing to do whatever needs to be done. Just a year ago, with the dominance of sex, sex and more sex with the pop princesses, would anyone have predicted Adele's success? Maybe it's naive of me, but I have to believe that quality WILL find an audience. Sometimes it is word-of-mouth (as this article credits for Adele's success). Adam being authentic is a very compelling force. I sure hope you're right. I get very frustrated when I hear some of what passes for popular music these days, especially vocals that are autotuned up the wazoo. I really want to believe that a true talent like Adam cannot be denied a chance for superstardom. Not that superstardom is the most important goal, but it just seems that with Adam's voice and looks and magnetism, superstardom is inevitable if there are enough listeners out there with any taste at all. I feel ya, murly. It's the same for movies/TV, etc. The risk-takers have to go outside the traditional routes sometimes to get someone who will take a risk on them. (Why cable TV has most of the critically acclaimed shows these days.) It is soooo frustrating that someone with Adam's talent, ability, charisma and looks had to go to the lengths he has, but sometimes that's just the way the world works. Gaga is a classically trained musician, a good songwriter with a great voice, but she obviously felt she had to create her outrageous character to break through. So excited to hear when JoyThemeParty reads their feedback from people who weren't previously fans or unaware of Adam. (One was a DJ in London, admitted he didn't know much about "'Bert," lol, but would pay more attention now.) Efforts such as this show and Liam's keep the momentum flowing, even if it's a small ripple in a massive pond. But people will be flailing all over the world when we hear Adam's new music.

Interesting article www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/rockandpopfeatures/8551095/Lady-Gaga-Adele-Rihanna-Only-girls-allowed.html but the US is not skewed female. Here are the Billboard 2010 yearend charts: Billboard Top New Artists of 2010 3 Women, 7 Men 1 KE$HA 2 JUSTIN BIEBER 3 SUSAN BOYLE 4 B.O.B 5 TAIO CRUZ 6 BRUNO MARS 7 ADAM LAMBERT 8 IYAZ 9 MIKE POSNER 10 NICKI MINAJ Top New Artist is based on the Hot 100 (single) and Billboard 200 (album) charts, A new artist cannot have had an album on any Billboard chart prior to October 2009. Top Artist of 2010 4 Women, 4 Men, 2 mixed groups 1 LADY GAGA 2 TAYLOR SWIFT 3 EMINEM 4 LADY ANTEBELLUM 5 KE$HA 6 USHER 7 THE BLACK EYED PEAS 8 JUSTIN BIEBER 9 RIHANNA 10 DRAKE Top Song of 2010 4 Women, 5 Men/Male acts, 1 mixed group 1 Ke$ha 2 Lady Antebellum 3 Train 4 Katy Perry Featuring Snoop Dogg 5 Usher Featuring will.i.am 6 B.o.B Featuring Hayley Williams 7 Eminem Featuring Rihanna 8 Lady Gaga 9 Taio Cruz 10 Taio Cruz Featuring Ludacris Top Albums of 2010 3 Women, 3 Men/Male acts, 2 mixed group 1 Susan Boyle 2 Eminem 3 Lady Antebellum 4 Lady Gaga 5 Justin Bieber 6 Andrea Bocelli 7 Taylor Swift 8 Justin Bieber 9 Taylor Swift 10 The Black Eyed Peas Looks like a 50/50 split to me in the states. But certainly not all women. I can pull the data differently and make it female skewed or male skewed. But it is deceptive. Looking at the Top 10 only distorts the data a bit because it depends who is in an album cycle and who is dark. Also because it is so easy to forget how well FYE did -- it was the #29 best selling album of 2010 -- that is October 2009-Sept 2010.
