NoAngel: Thank you for another insightful, thoughtful article. During this lull in news and my suffering thru withdrawal I have thought a lot about my addiction to Adam news and my expectations or wants/needs. In a recent communication with Angelina Kalahari, the professional opera singer, she expressed perplexity and irritation at Adam fans who seem determined to tell him what he should sing, and what he should produce. The idea that fans would try to dictate a singer's artistic expression was distressing.
I firmly believe that Adam owes me NOTHING. We entered into a business transaction where he produced a product and I purchased it. He performed, and I bought a ticket to that performance. Contract completed. If I vote for him in polls, contribute to his charities, buy multiple copies of his recordings, it is a purely self-serving act. I want him to succeed so he will make more music for me to consume. I NEED him to make more music because it feeds my soul.
Adam has been extremely generous with his fans, and extremely tolerant and good-natured. I hope we don't push him too far, make too many demands, or invade his personal privacy and space so much that he retreats and becomes accessible only thru recordings and performances. I'm gonna try and be on my best behavior as a good fan.

gelly14, as I see you are still here...I need some info on the Scorpions. Saw a youtube of them the other night, and followed thru some others. Are they from Greece? Saw they played in your town. I heard some amazing songs & fell in love. Need more info... TY ETA: I would love to hear Adam cover some of the songs I heard. Totally amazing. Will bring some here. Maybe someone has done this before me, but I have a bad case of CRS...sorry bout that...lol |

Another great article, NoAngel. I admit to being an Adamstan, but I don't understand why some people feel it is okay to demand he listen to them and believe that they a right to critique everything he does.

I heard some amazing songs & fell in love. Need more info... TY I'm still here No they're not from Greece, they're German, but they love Greece and they came here countless times. They fill huge stadiums in Greece and in Europe in general.They are very popular in Europe, sold more than 100 millions copies worldwide , play for more than 40 years, and they announced that they are going to retire after this tour. I didn't see them this year but I saw them so many times so I didnt want to see them again. They are very sweet people, despite of their hard rock, metal sound, I saw them many times in interviews and they also come here for vacation. The most popular songs of them are these (sorry no time to search for YT since I have to go and take care of my mom now, but we will talk again if you're interested) Wind of Change Send me an Angel Rock you like a Hurricane Still Loving you This is all for now  |
