I think the "Man Down" music video is a perfect example of the double standard. Men can be victims of abuse as well, and can you even imagine the huge universal uproar if the video depicted a guy shooting a girl. Where would the Rihanna apologists be then? Nonexistant, I think. :-/ Huh? Not aware that women raping men is a problem in society. I'm not a "Rihanna apologist," because I don't think she needs anyone to apologize for anything. I like the vid because it takes a real issue and frames it as art. Art is meant to reflect society. The good, the bad, and the ugly. All abuse is not sexual in nature. |

Who is Niko? Niko was on BB with Sauli. They became good friends, and he's the guy Sauli is seen cuddling with in the video of them all sleeping. |
