Okay, I'm in the #bloodpressuregoingup camp re Durbin's tweet. 1. Durbin has people. Adam has people. If Durbin seriously wants Adam's mentoring, he can request it in private. Posting it on twitter seems so obviously an attempt to get attention from fans and the media, and to seek sympathy once again. 2. Adam has over 1 million followers. Durbin, if he was sincere, could not possibly think that his tweets would somehow stand out from all the hundreds or thousands of fan tweets Adam gets every hour. Therefore, it looks like a ploy to me. 3. There is a certain chutzpah in Durbin going to Adam for mentoring. I may be reading way too much into it, but it seems that Durbin is still putting himself in Adam's league and figures all it will take is a few hints from Adam about navigating the post-Idol landscape, and Durbin will be a superstar. Adam is such a nice guy, and so willing to reach out and help others. I hope he is also savvy enough about people (and I think he is) to recognize these tweets and this request for what it is. Also, Adam is accomplished enough as a performer and singer to recognize that Durbin has a very long way to go, and whatever Adam may tell him over lunch cannot compensate for that. I think of the mentoring he did last season. Great suggestions that the contestants just didn't have enough skill to incorporate. Hope Adam steers way clear of this one. WELL SAID !! That's exactly why I felt sick and sickened when Durbin started tweeting Adam - for someone with a supposed lack of social skills Durbin is EXTREMELY wily in how to get maximum sympathy and attention. He should have been tweeting his hero Cook instead of Adam...

adamlambert Adam Lambert @jdurbinai10 haha why don't we just go ahead and discuss it right now over twitter? I'd be honored to advise... #nobadblood 2 minutes ago Dayummmm! One of my most favorite twitter slap downs ever!!!! Masterful! I read this as Adam's equivalent of the southern expression "bless his heart." Gracious, but subtext is "Are you really stupid enuf to put this out to the world on twitter? Really??? Alrighty, then. Bring it on!" Of course, I doubt that Durbin has the social sophistication to comprehend what Adam was doing. But, I love it! JD gently advising Adam that twitter is not quite the place to talk business...Adam's reply was perfect! Like shooting fish in a barrel with that boy!

....it IS amusing but I have to admit that I hate the way Durbin is speaking to Adam like he's some kind of equal....even if Adam might be toying with him. (I think James is oblivious). Exactly - as if James has already made it to Adam's level

Adam is THAT nice, He will do what he thinks best and I think that he will meet with James. It would be the right thing to do. Dammit, at times like this what I really want Adam to do is kick James in the nuts, but he isn't made that way. He will do the correct and honorable thing. I guess that is why

adamlambert Adam Lambert On my flight back from the UK I watched "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf" starring Elizabeth Taylor. Such a great film. Intense acting.
