Once Adam verified it was him....I didn't even hesitate! haha! I rarely tweet but I like to know what's going on. (So freakin' nosey!  ;D) I suspect I won't understand much anyway, although I see he's using a lot of English..... He's a public figure working in the entertainment business (radio gig) - I don't see anything wrong with following him.   |

One last thought before I stop spamming and get some work done. Re the Rihanna situation, when I reread the lyrics of Man Down, I kept thinking it reminded me of something and then I remembered. My mom was a huge Tom Jones stan, and my favorite song when I was 6 years old was Delilah. Partial lyrics:

MTV Are you asking if MTV or if The Today Show received complaints? MTV has a different set of rules and regulations as far as the FCC goes. The AMAs were on network tv and Adam's performance was before 10:00. (central time) That is the difference. BTW, I think it's all silly- but it is the way it is. : MTV has always been able to push things further, as well as shows like SNL that begin after the 10:00 hour. |

ITA with everything you've said here, Bridget. Reading back James' tweets, he seems very enthusiastic and pretty unrealistic, but not hostile. Adam answered minimally, but graciously. Not sure I read the final ; ) Adam tweeted as snark. If he'd just tweeted "ok" or "ok : )" that would have looked like he was agreeing to a meetup. The wink leaves it open to interpretation, but is kind of like a gentle "I don't think so." Kind of like when you run into someone at the grocery store and say "let's get together sometime!" without any intention of doing so, lol. If James is successful it takes nothing away from Adam. If James fails, it does not give anything to Adam. Plus I believe in karma, so I'm not sending any negativity James' way. JMHO and all Thank you, NoAngel. ITA. Like I said earlier, I feel no hostility and/or negativity towards JD. When he says stuff I just mostly feel---->  WTF?   I wish JD lived in a world where he could just follow his dreams... follow what's in his heart, and just do metal music and have at least moderate success and be happy. I'm afraid he was born a generation too late for that. *sigh* |
