One last thought before I stop spamming and get some work done. Re the Rihanna situation, when I reread the lyrics of Man Down, I kept thinking it reminded me of something and then I remembered. My mom was a huge Tom Jones stan, and my favorite song when I was 6 years old was Delilah. Partial lyrics: And even still, I turned out fine! :D (Well, except for a penchant for angsty songs ;D ) I mentioned on Adam Without Pity last night that thanks to my parents I grew up listening to folk music, primarily the Kingston Trio, and they sang songs that in some cases were many decades old, and a lot of these traditional songs were about murdering someone (violence!), getting drunk (substance abuse!) or getting drunk and murdering someone (violence caused by substance abuse!). I'm a teetotaler, haven't murdered anyone, and have no plans to do so. The Kingston Trio's most famous song was Tom Dooley, which goes: I met her on the mountain There I took her life Met her on the mountain Stabbed her with my knife. I heard that song over and over from when I was four years old and just assumed it was telling a story, not telling me what to do. Regarding following Sauli on Twitter, I'm with cookie: Me, too! I know I'm not going to cause Sauli any problems, so there was no hesitation at all. I'm looking forward to seeing his tweets!

I guess we will see how often JD refers to this twitter exchange with Adam once the Idols go out on tour.. Since the media i.e. Lyndsay at least saw the tweets.. it may be brought up when they do the media interviews while on tour.. THIS^^^is what I don't want either! Adam needs to have as little to do with this trainwreck as possible! I saw this comment at MJs from a member of ATOP: "If a public olive branch were the goal, it would have made more sense for James to just make some sort of comment, via Twitter or during an interview, that he respects Adam, that there are no hard feelings, yada yada yada – not for James to publicly put Adam on the spot to request a luncheon meeting to solicit advice from him. As it stands, to the extent that this gets noticed outside of the fandom at all, the only likely result will likely be to elicit more Adam-related questions for James during the tour. “Did you ever have that lunch with Adam?” “Why didn’t Adam want to meet with you?” “Are you angry that Adam didn’t meet with you?” It all seems rather counter-productive to me, and more likely to actually revive the talk of a feud – possibly at Adam’s expense. If Adam doesn’t have that luncheon with James, as I assume he will not, how will James spin it?Given the likelihood that James’s tour reviews will not infrequently include Adam comparisons, and given the fact that James was less than happy about Adam comparisons in the past – and given that James didn’t seem too impressed with Adam’s post-Idol artistic decisions – this whole exchange was simply bizarre." Run, Adam, Run!!!

Run, Adam, Run!!! I'm so sick of James... fame whore to the max. Check out his YouTube videos with his band before Idol.. no facial ticks and very secure sounding. I trust Adam's instincts...I'm sure he has seen the 'James 'type before.
